Un-pasturized juice

Post by dcboyer02 »

Am I correct in assuming as long as store bought juice is un pasturized and doesn't have any other ingredients it would be fine for the sample diet?

Yes that's correct. In my experience the juice tends to be more sour and acidy than home-made, but I might've been unlucky.

Thats my experience as well.
Its because commercially juiced oranges are 'squeezed to the max',
to distract every single drop of juice,
which means that also juice is extracted from very near to the peel,
which gives commercial juice that sour, or even bitter 'edge'.

Ok, great, thank you,

I wish this was in the book, because its a lot of effort to buy a juicer and juice when you can just buy un-pasturized juice.
Maybe someone can notate that so that is says you can do that and not make it sound like you strictly have to be juicing if you want juice?

Yes, im planning on rewriting it all,
so that we can add in all those things that we have learned for the past years.
Luckily, all that can be found on this forum...

So fresh orange juice from the Plus or AH isn't causing water retention ?

Well, at least those from AH do.
Not immediately, but eventually, when consumed for several consecutive days.

Oh, I didn't know you were planning on rewriting the whole book RRM. Is it still going to be an 'Acne Book'?, or more like a 'Wai Diet' book?

My plan is to make it more specifically an acne book,
as the wai info in general is available on the wai websites.
So that acne sufferers may continue to stumble over this book.
It just needs updating.
