Clarification before I begin; yolks & OJ? protein?

Post by wuzarnold »

I have a few questions before I begin this diet.

1. Why is it OK to mix egg yolk with juice? I thought I had to wait at least three hours after eating a protein before eating sugar/fiber? Won't this cause digestion problems?

2. If I don't eat eggs or fish can I still get enough protein from the other items on this diet (not including munch foods)?

OJ contains very little fiber, as the pulp is discarded. So, yes, its ok.

Protein? Yes, if Brazil nuts are included in your diet.
But vitamin B12? Good cholesterol? Specific omega 3 fats?
No, these are only present in food from animal origin.
