fat and cancer

Post by johndela1 »

Here is a quote from a study guide for a personal trainer cert that I'm working on...

"Exercise helps you maintain your ideal body weight and helps keep your level of body fat to a minimum."

does carrying more fat make you more likely to get cancer?

Its not true.
Its even easier to decrease your fat level by doing nothing because the lower the level of activity, the higher the percentage of fat burned for energy.

Not the carrying of fat by itself.
More fat comes with overeating, which generally means more toxins from cooked foods entering the body, so, a relationship between overweight and cancer seems logic to me.

You can definately lose weight doing nothing. Does "You're wasting away staring at that television/monitor all day!" sound familar? :D
