I don't care what other people think, but I care that I don't think I have accomplished what I want to in life. For instance, people around me measure success as making a lot of money by a certain age, and that is not what I have ever cared about and I have never lived my life like that, so that is not what I am fretting about.

I think I am a nomad at heart, most content when ranging the plains, always on the move, never staying somewhere very long - get bored - have to move on, seek new experiences and a change of vista .. and that is probably why I have always wanted to travel and live and work in different countries .. which I am doing at the moment .. but I am getting tired of this place .. there is nothing exciting about this place anymore although it was at first ... and also the same with interests ... I get into something, almost obsessively and then the interest peters out ..

The thing is the world at the moment doesn't reward people like me: it rewards the specialist, people who devote their life to a narrow field ... these people are the ones in demand ... I am a generalist .. I dabble in this and that ... and move on ... realizing that it won't hold my interest forever or for very long for that matter. And like the saying a rolling stone gathers no moss. EEK!

Not completely...you're still alive. ;)
I forget the exact wording and who said it, but "It's easy to know if one's purpose in life has been fulfilled or not: If you're still alive, then it hasn't.".

That's kind of aiming pretty low, just existing. :)

Not really, it's more the removal of judgemental values from aiming. ;)

hey i`m a looner from blood group AB :D
adamo is offering you a neolith diet.he tells you what people(different groups of people=different blood types for him) ate for the last 30 000-40 000y.so it is better to stick to some form of paleo.(including or excluding vegetables and seeds)cause humans were paleo for about 2,5 mln of years.

I'm 0 Rh+

D'Adamo says blood type 0 may manage too much gastric juice and need to eat much meat wich need much gastric juice to be digested.

According to this, if you don't eat much meat you may suffer from ulcer, D'Adamo says.

Well, I have a chronic gastritis from years, and I've never eaten too much meat. Maybe I should...

I also dont belive in this blood type of diet...how on earth would you have known your blood type thousands of years ago? You would have been eating for survival back then...taste might of come second if you cant find much food.

Jodiat,

I'm not pushing the blood type diet (although I read the book and it makes sense, but then again, they are trying to make sense...), but you're idea here is not at all close to what the book says. It doesn't claim ancient man knew his blood type and ate that way. It says something like our blood types evolved because of our environments. If our ancestors ate meat we are more adapted, if they farmed, we are more adapted at that kind of diet, etc....

Ahh I see my flawed thinking. Your point is valid and makes sense. Im going to find my blood type next month when I give blood as it happens. Im also thinking of reading about this blood type style eating. Is this the books that spread the 'carb type' or 'protein type' lingo that people throw around on health boards?
Maybe theres more truth to this blood typing diet then I realised but for acne how practical is it?
