The bacterial flora is a balance between many species of bacteria. Adding random amounts in a random ratio isn't really going to solve anything.

We know for a fact that adding 'good' bacteria has
in several cases brought on good results. It might
put the flora temporarily out of balance
(to the 'good' side'), but it will re-ballance itself
in time.

When having used antibiotics for years, then it sounds right
to me to try and mend the dammage done, by taking
probiotics.

The problem is that there isn't really a 'good' or 'bad' side...which means you will put it out of balance to a 'random' side. This might have good effects or bad effects, depending on the situation.

From what I have read on the topic, there definitively is a 'good' side
and a 'bad' side. Probably also a lot of random bacteria, but
definitively some that is good for you, and some that is not.

I do not doubt that you can dig up 'facts' to prove me wrong,
but I can do the same, so enlighten me if you want to, but
there really is no need to ;)

Decided i would return to the munch food, see how it would affect my skin.

Some notes:

-Indigestion with nearly everything i ate.
-Blood on my anus after feces (occured twice)
-Couldn't find anything to satisfy me. Intial mouthful of food tasted good sometimes but decline thereafter but I still had a compulsion to eat the food anyway
-Bloating of belly was unbelievable
-Energy swings was all over the place. Tired most of the time
-Lasted 5 days until i got a red stop. Was thinking about return to juice after only 3 days.

Actually, that depends on their levels. For example: you need a little salmonella regularly to have a defense strongly armed to fight salmonella, whereas salmonella is considered a 'bad bacteria'.
If you would be correct, sterile foods would be best for us, but unfortunately people eating just sterile foods have the weakest defense system.
So, indeed, you there is no strict division between good and bad bacteria possible, as you also need some 'bad bacteria'.
Key is the amount; you need both good and bad bacteria in different amounts.

Well maybe time for an update ;)

Firstly, now at 30 I no longer have acne like I did the previous 15 years. Basically I can eat at will. But this has had negative implications. I am now overweight, suffer indigestion and constipation with a lot of food.

So for the next two days I've decide to have a Wai "detox"; and thereafter to try and look after myself better. I still remember how great I always felt on the diet, sadly since I came off the diet I have not felt so great.

Very happy that the forum is still running, I still remember a time when there was no forum! But only the 'old forum' to view and Wai's website. Also happy to see that RRM and Oscar are still contributing their words of wisdom; I always felt a great comfort knowing they were here to listen to my queries.

You dont feel like going for it all the way?
There are people of old age who started this diet with great effects on their health,
so, its never too late...

Hey dionysus :)
Two days might be a bit short for a 'real' detox, why not go for two weeks (or a month even)?
