rachel's diary (for acne)

Post by rachel »

Hi,

I'm new here, and I've been surfing around for quite a while.. I'm 18 and I've moderate/severe acne. Just a month ago I had a huge outbreak on my cheeks (previously only had it at my forehead).. So I hope I can look to a healthy way to cure this.

Hope i've got the diet right.. I'll just post my diet up so that anyone can critique it..

I've been doing this for 4 days already..

2 bananas
2 apples
2 pears
2 oranges
2 slices of papaya
1 slice of watermelon
1 or 2 mandarins
1 tomato + 1/4 cucumber + 1 carrot + 1 green apple + olive oil --> made into juice because i don't exactly like eating them (is this alright?)
2 oranges + 1/4 pineapple + 1 egg yolk --> made into juice
1/2 an avocado
a bowl of grapes

So far i haven't eaten any munch food..
I'm trying to get used to the egg yolk so I'm starting out bit by bit..

Yep this is it, any comments? Thanks!

Hi Rachel
Did you add some oliveoil or other fat to each fruit meal?
Otherwise your plan looks good to me.

I add the olive oil to both the juices that I take. Lots of tablespoons of it (is it enough?).

I usually add 1 teasp. to half a cup of juice (4 oz.) and 1/2 tablesp. to every portion of fruit, which is about the size of a med. apple . But one tablespoon in each is ok, too, as far as I know.

Welcome on the forum. :)
At first glance it looks okay to me.

You know that you have to gently add the egg yolk to juice only afterwards, not juice it with the rest, right?

Just wanted to clarify, is it okay if I juice the salad (the tomato cucumber salad) and not eat it as proper fruits?

Actually, if i use a blender to juice cucumber / tomato etc, it gives me acne, so you can only use a centrifugal juicer; not a blender.
