Wow, that's quite extreme.
I brush only twice a day, and my teeth are doing well.
What about my bones, don't they also worsen as my tooth do?
The acids from eating / drinking food never touches your bones...
Your teeth are the only 'bones' not protected by flesh and skin.
Bone deterioration is caused by other factors.
Isn't tooth health the reflect to health according to Weston Price and Al?
They failed to supply us with a logical reason as to how the 2 are connected.
Can you?

Well, if the primary cause of tooth decay is diet and not bacteria as conventional dentistry believe, then it's quite obvious that oral health and global health are connected, don't you think?
Anyway, I am not here to theorize, I just try to find a way to survive and make this body works longer than he seems to want :-)
Improving oral hygiene and minerals/fat soluble vitamins intake are the way to go in my view. What do you think?
It's clear for me that frequent eating of acidic and sugary food like fruits has increased tooth decays. But I wonder also if my minerals/vitamins intake is also adequate. A healthy tooth would resist an attack from acid. Tooth lose its mineral density first, and only then micro-organisms can cause trouble.

Suppose conventional dentistry is wrong, and bacteria are not involved.
Suppose it is diet.
How does diet cause both bad dental health and bad health in general?

To find the right way, you need to theorize.
First you understand, then you practice.
I wonder also if my minerals/vitamins intake is also adequate.
That's always a good thing to check, but I thought you already had done so...

Instead of lower mineral density, don't you mean enamel erosion?

Even if oral health does not reflect health, I want to stop my tooth decaying at high speed. I am not interested by ratiocination here. Only by practical solution. Sorry.

Try Wai Warrior.
Contact with foods / drinks is limited to just a few hours / day.
Lots of time for recovery.

Yes it is very tempting!
I am just afraid of loosing weight by not being able to ingest enough calorie in such a limited window, and also afraid of hypoglycaemia.
But it is surely worth to try it.
Lots of time for recovery.
Recovery of what? workout?

You can make your own version, perfectly adjusted to you.
You can make the time window as large as required.
also afraid of hypoglycaemia.
That's what triggers the autophagy.

For the teeth to recover; lots of time without any food / drink intake.

Can you elaborate, I am not sure to understand that?

Fasting decreases blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
This low blood sugar starves cells, that will resort to autophagy to compensate for that.
That is because autophagy in a cell is evoked by a lack of energy / protein, in that cell.
The autophagy converts unused / damaged organelles inside that cell into energy and building blocks (amino acids) for energy supply and reconstruction / repair.
So, as long as your blood sugar (and protein) remains low (hypoglycemia), autophagy will continue.

If you never fast, damaged and unused organelles in cells will accumulate, until the point that functioning of the entire cell is compromised,
which evokes the breakdown of the entire cell (apoptosis).
So, with autophagy, cells are repaired instead of broken down.
This slows down aging of these cells (total cell replication capacity is limited), which slows down aging of the entire organism.
That's a bonus.

Thank you for the explanation RRM.
I am currently doing oil pulling with coconut oil, and brushing my teeth with miswak. My oral hygiene is much better now, sensitivity has disappeared.
On my way to a Wai Warrior, I am trying to eat 2 times for 2 hours during the day, one around midday and one in the late afternoon.
My teeth health should improve.

Regarding teeth that's better, yes, but that may not evoke autophagy, though, as your body may be mainly relying on stored glycogen.
For autophagy, the fasting intervals need to be longer.
For example: 1 day eating nothing, compensated for by the next day.
The fasting during the day is considered the minimum time interval.

Yes, it's a transition phase.
So to invoke autophagy, one must be liver glycogen depleted, right? muscle glycogen has no effect on autophagy?

I think I will try another schedule : eating 1.5L of fruit juice in 2 hours leaves me K.O. (exhausted, eye shots, etc.).
I may try to eat from 12:00 to 18:00, this makes an 18 hours fast.
If it doesn't do it, I'll resume my normal 12 hours eating a day schedule.

Yes, and very little energy should come from partly digested food in the intestines.
(not enough to replenish blood sugar)
muscle glycogen has no effect on autophagy?
Indeed, as muscle-glycogen cannot be converted back into glucose.

Maybe not after fasting so many hours.

Yes, perfect.

Just a quick uptade :
I gave up my attempt to intermittent fasting because it was too hard for my body to eat a lot of calories during a limited period of time.

I also eat much less animal protein than before. Eating animal protein every day, even in small amout as on the waidiet, gives me inflamation (pain in the noise, in the fingertips, etc.) and mucus in the noise, especially eggs (too acidic for me). So now my diet is very simple : fruits, especially fruit juice because the less fiber the better. Sometimes a small amout of vegetables, and sometimes animal protein, especially sea food. I also eat honey when fruits don't bring me enough energy. Basically, it is almost a 80/10/10 diet, "a la Wai diet".
I have a very good energy and less and less symptom if I really listen to my needs which I think is the key to success for me. Of course I am quite underweight but at least I stop torturing my body!
