Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Personally I'm not that crazy about walnuts, but pecans are really tasty
Favorites remain Brazil nuts and Macadamias.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
My favourite raw nut ranking: 1st Macadamias << Brazil nuts << Cashews << Hazelnuts << Walnut << Pecans << Almonds - Aytundra
Heat treated salted nut ranking (from memory): Macadamia << Pistachios << Cashews << Hazelnuts << Brazil nuts << Almonds << Peanut - Aytundra
I would have to add that the Macadamia, Hazelnuts Brazil nuts and Almonds should be chocolate covered and peanut in spicy cream puff coating.
'My favourrrite nuts are: Acorns & Nutty Aytundra << Surrrprise Nut = random human nut food found on top of the porch or fence. - Squirrreeeeel

in no particular order, but probably by quantity from more to less.

pineapples, fresh, lots and lots (opened 2 from scratch, so proud of myself, don't let those spikes scare you, they are quite easy to open.)
cantaloupe
bananas (2-3 /day)
oranges
papaya
honeydew
apples
walnuts (handful/day)
almonds
hazelnuts
pecans
blueberries
grapes
-----
3 pots of slow cooked oxtail (20 cubes?/ pot)
1 pot of slow cooked lamb (20 cubes?/ pot)
3 -5? times cooked chicken drumsticks
cooked potatoes
cooked tomato
-----
Random Treats:
1 piece of chocolate
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp coconut oil
-----
Dangerous Cooking:
steamed salmon (2 x 100 g)
steamed mussel (40 pieces)
-----
Dangerous Freebies:
2 slices of pizza
4 slices of cakes, chocolate almond
4 tiny egg roll wafers
-----
Restaurants & Fast Food Outings:
- 5 - 8? cups Whipped Creme and Chocolate Drizzle topped Chocolate Milk with crushed ice
- 3 - 4 Muffins
- 1 Japanese Noodles, didn't know why the store always had a line of people, but now I know fresh noodles are so different from those packaged instant noodles.
- 1 Chinese Restaurant, Rice wrapped Shrimps, Pork with Rice
-----
- ? did I miss anything, oh yes, of course the eggs, 2 egg raw yolks every 3 - 5 days. I was not much into eating egg yolks ever since I started eating walnuts, almonds, banana, cantaloupe. Nuts are just quicker. And I wasn't much interested in eating egg yolks when I was busy stressing over school and buying the whipped creme chocolate milk from school. I think those displaced the egg.
Goals for Jan:
- Make sure the school does not earn any money from me for food.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
You can also introduce an oasis to the desert, to combine sunshine and water (that works in many resorts...)
Just find a plastic container that perfectly fits under your heater. Fill it with water and then hang a towel over the heater, with one of the ends extending into the water. The towel will soak up the water, which gets heated and evaporates, which increases humidity of the air.

That is the heater on the bottom left corner, no space below it.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
But there is space behind it.
Put up a rack behind it, plus a water-filled container on the floor.
Suspend a towel on the rack, with one end extended into the water.
Alternatively, you may hang your wet laundry to dry in the room, instead of using an electric drier.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet) Jan 2017 2nd week
I don't totally agree with that. And I think too much liquids would have the opposite reaction, if that was the case.
As for my experience, I have to say when I've stopped 100% Wai or if I eat a lot of non-Wai foods, I wake up with dry lips (sometimes even sore).
When I was doing 100% Wai none of this happened. Not even a single time, whether it was cold, hot, humid, dry.
Heater, yes, can do that, buuut... Foods have more impact, in my honest opinion.
Since you have been eating non-Wai foods, there's your reason. And I guess you may also agree, RRM.
Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
The air feels much nicer with the water next to the heater. I have about 1 cm water left in that container.
My lips have not flaked since last week.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
As guilty as ever.
I had 2 pieces of bakery bread, steak and 2 slices of cake Sat Jan 28; I knew I should not have taken so much cooked food at once especially in months prone to germs going around, that precipitated a day of fever and body-ache, followed by a cough and runny nose.
What foods would you choose if you are sick?
I know I am asking the wrong forum because, everyone doesn't get sick here, and hence no one knows which items works to cure things like a cough and runny nose.
But I will try anyways for ideas.
Things I have in stock:
- tea orange-pekoe (10 packets)
- coffee (1 jar) [ I never drink it, but if you guys can come up with a recipe to slay a cough and runny nose, i'll drink it].
- echinachia tea [ I never drank it, just something sitting in the cabinet.]
- dark cocoa powder (100 g)
- cane sugar + ginger + honey powdered drink mix (6 packets / 18 g per packet)
- ginger powder (150 g)
- fresh ginger (1 piece)
- fresh garlic (8 cloves)
- fresh onion (1 bag, 2 kg)
- frozen sliced scallion (1 box, 50 g?)
- sugar (500 g)
- coarse salt ( 1 box )
- sea salt (50 ml jar)
- cinnamon ( empty jar, 1/4 pinch)
- licorice candy (10 strings; probably fake flavour)
- advil/tylenol, not sure which one, expired a year ago. I don't have a fever, just a runny nose and cough to stop.
- vitamin c tablets (probably expired years ago).
- vinegar
- balsamic vinegar
- ketchup
- avocado oil
- butter
Food Items:
- red orange (3)
- banana (1)
- cantaloupe (1 large)
- bosc pears (3)
- red delicious apples (8)
- tomatoes (3)
- egg yolks (11 eggs)
- egg whites (11 eggs)
- chicken (4 pieces)
- salmon (2 x 50 g)
- oysters frozen (10 pieces) [ I think only canned oysters work. I get rash with fresh oysters.]
- surf clams (25 pieces)
- water unlimited
Cleaning Items:
- xylitol 50 g [used for swishing over teeth; this one keeps teeth smooth and clean.]
- coconut oil (1 bottle) {i don't like the texture for eating it} [used for oil pulling but leaves teeth dry, and used for topical hair gloss but leaves coconut smell which I don't like.].
- toasted sesame oil [used for oil pulling, doesn't work too well, the taste is strong.]
- baking soda [ I don't use it, but if you have a recipe I have the ingredient]
