Blender cocktails
This is a thread for all good blender combos.
My favorite is:
2 tomatos
1 cucumber
Lots of olive oil
Spin and it's ready. Add mint if it's not against your religion.
You can even serve it to non-Wai friends. They'll love it!
*Make sure you empty the blender and flush it immediately with hot water, then cleaning is breeze.*

Mango Mamba
1 ripe Mango
*without the skin and the seed, this should be self-explanatory from here forward. I forgot to mention that I peel the skin of the tomatos and cumcumber as well.*
2 oranges pressed: the less pulp, the better.
*Otherwise, you have to constantly take chuncky orange bits out of your teeth while you have your drink - we agree that it's not very sexy. I don't have a juicer, so any contribution on advanced artisanal juicing techniques is welcome*
Spin and serve! Don't forget to flush your blender with hot water!
I was also voted best raw host of the year with this!

Sorry, I just realised that there are missing ingredients to the recipe. Please forgive my ADD.
-Add to the above a big spoon of raw honey (I prefer the rock solid kind for blenders)
-And of course, lots of olive oil
*This should be self-explanatory as well from here onwards*
I have many more to come. But better taste life one bite at a time

Kiwi is not suitable for blenders
I found in one of Wai's old post that Kiwi is not a suitable ingredient for blenders because the tiny seeds are actually toxique once broken down. Too bad because it's definitely a delicious item because I tried it once.
The idea of cocktail is that you can be creative with limited ingredients. I hope I got everybody's creative juices running!

I thought blended stuff wasn't allowed.
Have I given up my smoothies for nothing.
I mean I know they're considered "bad" but are they actually ALLOWED?! Legalised sin?
My favourite was;-
banana, avocado, and berries. especially strawberry or blueberry.
But I can not remember the quantities as it's so long since I MADE it.

I peel the skin off the ginger with a paring knife (if the ginger is fresh)... otherwise, I am afraid I cheat and use dried powdered ginger in a bottle (non-irradiated of course). I know it's a munch-food, but it doesn't make me break out. Others might need to 'test' it though.
Hehehe, nope, we don't peel the berries one by one (at least, I don't). I just buy organic berries! (Which makes them a luxury... but I don't eat that many berries anyway, for reasons I've described elsewhere on the forum.)
