Banana/Egg Yolk Recipe "100%"?

Hi everyone, I made a "tropical banana mash" :lol: earlier tonight.

It was soo tasty and I was just wondering if this was a recipe that is suitable for this diet (that is 100% scrict):

- 2 bananas (gently) mashed
- Inexact amount (aprox. 3 teaspoons) of coconut oil mashed in with it.

- 2 egg yolks
- Aprox. 3 teaspoons white sugar
- Large splash of olive oil

All gently mixed together.... Absolutely delicious!

So, IF this is 100% suitable then in my humble opinion this method should be reccomended to those starting this diet or those that may be put off by the taste, texture or even thought of raw egg yolk.

Agent... seems fine to me! My only worry is the sugar/yolk combo - perhaps the sugar will interfere with the body's uptake of fatty acids from the yolks? I remember reading an article in a medical journal to that effect. But otherwise, it's very similar to the banana-yolk mash that I consume daily, and I think recommending it to Wai-newcomers is a very good idea.

Very similar to a mash I make as well,

more options...

-Try honey instead of sugar
-cut up some fresh cherrys into little bits and throw them in there
-Add some crumbled dark chocolate (munch food)

I agree, this is really one of my favorite things to eat during the day. I've found that if im having a bad craving for a much food, I can eat this and it completely satisfies it.

I usually use honey with my bananas and yolks, but last night I had a tablespoon or so of sugar instead. Is it really a problem to add sugar to yolks? Isn't a banana sugar as well, and so is honey, or really any other fruit? I don't see why one would be discouraged, and he others allowed...

I was just making different suggestions for a different taste, as far as sugar quality, i don't think there is much difference between honey and sugar

Dear Lord, is there not enough Sugar in the Banana to appease these, these recipe mongers? Must we always have an addition? Of Table Sugar?

Let us pray for the poor Souls who contunue to something something the Eeeevvviiilll Table Sugar!!! :twisted:

Surprisingly, sugar is not as sweet as I thought it would be. Honey is, like, twice as sweet, makes my teeth hurt if I have it by itself.

Sugar goes great with avocado. I love it!

For years I have not been able to tolerate BANANAS.

However, as an exeriment, I tried the following recipe:

Mash 2 bananas
Stir in 3 raw egg yolks
Stir in a handful of walnut pieces
Stir in a handful of sundried wild mulberries

I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and texture of this mixture with NO adverse effects. I'm thinking the addition of the egg yolks neutralized whatever is problematic about bananas for my digestive system.
