Raw yams, sweet potato, oats?

hi i was wondering if it is ok to eat raw yams and sweet potato on this diet. Also what about raw oats

Yams and sweet potato contain less alkaloids than normal potatoes, but nevertheless, they require cooking to some extend. Otherwise they contain simply too many such anti-nutrients.
Even the raw oats are never really raw (you cannot maintain them without some form of heat treatment; usually steaming); i found out in the beginning, as i used to like muesli.

I also love (or sud I say loved Oats) but my acne didnt. Shame tho because Oats rule!

Unless you pick them yourself, in the field, even the the raw oats are not really raw, as they would go bad too soon...

however have you read about 'steel cut' oats. These are not subject to heat but are simply 'cut' by massive steal blades into 2-3 smaller peices. I could never find a source of these so couldnt try them. Anyway I dont recommed oats unless sprouted.

No, i have not heard of these.
Yes, indeed, oats naturally contain lots of anti-nutrients (as all grains / grasses do).
