Rice milk

Post by Ducky »

Is it ok on the 100 % diet?

The one i buy has only 1g of protein in 1 liter.

Ingredients: water, 17% rice, rice oil, sel.

Ive seen on youtube that rice milk is or can be made without heating.

Since rice and salt are not on the 100% diet, it isn't.

That was a silly question. :)

I should have asked if it was a good munch food? :)

No, rice is a grain, which naturally contains high levels of antinutrients.
Thats one of the reasons we dont eat raw rice.
Also, rice is not psychologically satisfying as a good munch food should.
And its high in protein.

Hi RRM, I thought white rice was encouraged as a munch food? There are a lot of recipes in the book where's it's an ingredient.
(or is that just there for those people who "need" grain, and it's the "least bad" grain?)

Benefits; time-released carbs that make it easy to boost your glycogen levels.

Sure there are good points, as it also contains vitamins and minerals etc.
the bad news is that rice cannot be eaten raw, so the cooking process will always originate heterocyclic amines.
