No, not ok.
Any kind of peas / beans need to be cooked to make edible (destroying most of the anti-nutrients)
Because of the heat involved, proteins are damaged, making them a little harder to very hard to digest / break down by digestive enzymes and enzymes in the blood, so that they partially end up in the skin, where they attract more water. This lead to an increase in the water pressure in the true skin, leading to sebum canals being pinched off, which is a problem if your skin produces much sebum.
And peas and beans contain much protein.

wai doesn't allow pulses because of all the toxins...and munchfood has to be low protein so houmous doesn't qualify.

but if you want to be naughty....I used to make raw houmous (can't spell it to save my life) out of sprouted chickpeas. It was nice...not as nice as cooked, but nice....the longer it had sprouted the less good. Recently I read Gillian McKeith say she likes eating soaked chickpeas - she soaks them overnight and then eats them - before they've sprouted. I didn't know you could eat them like that. Soaked would probably make a better houmous. If I was going to make houmous now that's what I'd do.

me too :(

make dehydrated falafels they're healthier (I'm not convinced dehydrated food is raw - it makes me feel poorly and gives me cooked-cravings but its better for you than cooked food) and taste just as good.

You don't have acne so I suppose there's no reason not to eat raw falafels as your munchfood..... :?:
