dietary experiments with mice

Post by claireelis »

Here is a link containing some excerpts on experiments with mice and the ideal diet: http://drbass.com/mice.html

not 100% wai, but do advocate raw egg yolks and 75% raw food in general.

It would be handy to have the original publications of the experiments. I read one and my conclusion was the researcher wasn't a very good experimentalist - but this doesn't mean that the experiments are of no value at all... I am at least convinced to continue with my yolks :)

Are our digestive systems comparible to rats? I mean is a rats ideal diet the same as ours?

No, its not the same. They thrive on dried and dry foods, such as seeds / grains. Humans thrive on foods containing much more water. But aside that, yes, both rats and humans can thrive on the combination of fruits (dried or not) and animal food.
