these are books on behavior and operant conditioning, especially about using operant conditioning on animals (like dogs, but can also be humans) to shape behavior. Karen Pryor is like a modern day B.F. Skinner except with more hands on experience rather than experimental knowledge. She is heavily inspired/learned in Skinnerian ways. Positive reinforcement and operant conditioning has the potential to create a utopian world - one without abundant negative behaviors. It only requires more people to know how to use it and be aware of it..

Besides that, knowing this stuff is immensely useful in your personal life for everything ranging from getting your pet to potty outside and get your boss to be nicer to you.

the real reason for brains (basic premise is: the real reason for nervous systems in living organisms is to move through the world - intelligence was just a way to move better, a secondary effect to optimizing the goal of navigation. many things in the universe happen this way, from seemingly ordinary things arises complexity (intelligence out of "body, go find food")

naturalism, is the new term for determinism

when talking about beliefs, terms can get in a kind of grey area, as everyone has a slightly different interpretation of things. the important similarity between naturalism and determinism is that everything has a physical reason or cause based in this universe.

tells the real genetic history of our bodies - we are semi aquatic apes, with abundant evidence. as with many things, it's controversial and won't be accepted widely for awhile, but the truth is right under our noses

this website, is currently my second go-to diet resource
the first one is http://www.normalbreathing.com although it has no real discussion board
and the third best resource is rawpaleodietforum.com

personally I feel that the optimum diet shifts with the health-level of the body, and the particular body's situation, but in theory the best diet is probably an artificial one that hasn't been created yet as all real diets have drawbacks (like is the fruit ripe always?) so my ideal diet would probably be raw egg yolks and raw beef and raw salmon with sugar evian water and fruits only when truly ripe (so therefore, in my area, I wouldn't be getting much variety of fruits, probably just raspberries/blueberries and stuff)

i take normalbreathing's stance that berries are the best fruits when you have good gastrointestinal health - but when you dont the seeds will cause inflammation
