Post by avo »

In the nutrient calculator, there seems to be some mistake with sizes of bananas. See:

Code: Select all

[Item-1] 1units, big of Banana (Musa X paradisiaca), [1].

Weight:.......................................136.0000g

Constituents...................................Quantity..............RDA

Water.........................................100.99360g ..............?g
Energy........................................125.12000kcal ......650.00kcal
Protein quality...................................24.46%
Protein.........................................1.40080g ..........13.00g

Code: Select all

[Item-1] 1units, medium of Banana (Musa X paradisiaca), [1].

Weight:.......................................101.0000g

Constituents...................................Quantity..............RDA

Water..........................................75.00260g ..............?g
Energy.........................................92.92000kcal ......650.00kcal
Protein quality...................................24.46%
Protein.........................................1.04030g ..........13.00g

Code: Select all

Selection:
	[Item-1] 1units, small of Banana (Musa X paradisiaca), [1].

Weight:.......................................118.0000g

Constituents...................................Quantity..............RDA

Water..........................................87.62680g ..............?g
Energy........................................108.56000kcal ......650.00kcal
Protein quality...................................24.46%
Protein.........................................1.21540g ..........13.00g
Notice how the medium banana is actually the small? And the small is actually the medium? So all this time if you thought you were eating medium bananas, you actually consumed 4 more grams of carbs than the calculator showed. :D No big deal, but I just thought that it can be easily fixed.
