Its hard to tell, as we dont know what kind of shrimp they are, exactly...
Its not just about whether they are raw, but also about safety regarding natural toxins.

Will do some more effort to find those Pandalus borealis... it's kinda hard here in Portugal. When I do, I'll buy a bulk as revenge

I wouldnt buy a bulk, as they deteriorate (even) in the freezer.

Yeah, same with mackerel. If the mackerel is too long in the freezer it tastes fishy. And fishy tasting fish is not fresh.
One month in the freezer at -20 degrees is fine, if you go past that it is still eadible up till 3 months after you put it in the freezer, after that it can't be eaten anymore.
