Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Wed August 5, 2015
Weight = 42 kg
9:00 Wake
10:00 400 ml (4 oranges)
12:30 10 dates, 2 yolks
16:00 5 dates
17:30 242g cantaloupe and honey dew, 246 g cantaloupe
22:20 1 tomato, 1 cucumber, 12 dates
24:00 - 9:15
---
Thur August 6, 2015
Weight = 41 kg
5:00 acid-after-taste
9:15 Wake
9:30 1 banana, 10 dates, 10 almonds, 2 tsp oo
12:40 1 cucumber, 1 tomato
13:10 3 yolks
22:00 18 dates, 1 cucumber, 2 dates
23:30 1 tsp oo
24:00 - 6:10
---
Fri August 7, 2015
6:10 wake, snooze, mild acid-after-taste*
7:10 re-awake
7:25 0.5 tomatoes, (* I like tomatoes, it seems to wash the taste off a bit.)
13:00* 945 ml P-ojfLr [P = Packaged, f = far, L = L letteredcompany, r = raw, not-pasteurized]
15:00 645 ml P-ojfLr
18:00 300 ml P-ojfLr
18:45 12 dates, 1 banana, 1 tsp oo
22:30 12 dates, 1 tsp oo
24:00 - 9:15
---
*This isn't my first time drinking raw-oj purchased.
In July I started using raw-not-pasteurized juice from the stores every Friday.
Currently 3 supermarkets (specialty stores that sell organics, regular supermarkets don't bother with these) offers store-made packaged oj, 1.89L / bottle at 50 eggshells, that is raw and unpasteurized, and likely went through an orangejuiceamusementparkmachine.
The one I used today was 10 eggshells cheaper, the difference is that, it is made far away (imported), and it was noticeably more sour in orange juice taste, i think possibly because supermarkets will use their ripe oranges (ones that they can't sell) to make oj versus commercialized companies don't have the time to wait for oranges to ripe.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Hey Aytundra, how's your digestion with all this food? Why you do not drink that day juice? Such as orange juice or the juice extractor?
Or better yet like you're not 100%, you Wai Warrior (fasting all day) and in the evening you have your favorite meal just before you drink 1 liter of juice at once
You do not have too much gas with all that fiber?

Oui je notice un petite gasse dans la jour.
Au jour d'hui je sip l'orange jus avec ecrivez mon response pour vous.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Thank you to express yourself in French, you speak well.
That is the advantage of the extractor is that as you tell me you can not stand that 800 ml of orange juice you drink other fruit juices to see if you support better.
For extractors here is a list that you can buy at different prices, Vertical are the best is simpler : Hurom, Omega and Versapers are the best on the market but also the most expensive, count 299-599 euros, but they are made to last
And there are all the others who are riding this new wave of cold juice extracted vertical, from 90 euros, are they solid? I do not know, yet affordable : http://www.amazon.fr/H-Koenig-GSX12-Ext ... +jus+oscar
http://www.amazon.fr/Domoclip-Premium-1 ... +jus+oscar
http://www.amazon.fr/FG-20-07-Centrifug ... +jus+oscar

The rolls royce extractors for the home: http://www.nature-vitalite.com/extracte ... colat.html
You are in what country?
It's funny, I'm 100%, but sometimes, rarely, one of my favorite meal is almost like you! Sweet potatoes, potatoes with avocado and raw egg yolk is incredibly good. In fact I much prefer salmon or tuna sashimi but if I take more than 100 grams (even raw) it is not good for my skin at all whereas with potatoes I can to have a lot. I'm having this meal can be once in three months or two months, or not at all

When I am stressed I eat cooked foods.
**, *** butter, I don't remember having butter for over a year.
Butter taste like cold, gooey. Maybe I should just purchase a brick of butter over soup for the same price.
The soup had canned veggies, not worth the 16 eggshells.
Butter leaves a dairy aftertaste for half an hour, that clings and coats the mouth and it was annoying.

For extractors here is a list that you can buy at different prices, Vertical are the best is simpler : Hurom, Omega and Versapers are the best on the market but also the most expensive, count 299-599 euros, but they are made to last

Hurom, Omega, Versapers et Oscar est fabrique dans la meme location.

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Haha yes the kuvings looks practice, anyway when I use my juicer I always remove the skin and seeds of each fruit and I am sure not to overload the machine (So it does not break)
It's funny in all the countries where I went oranges and apples were always the cheapest. (Except local fruit season)
For apples you need an extractor
It does not surprise me that ca kind of the same plant in were the best on the market (Hurom, Oscar, Versapers, omega)
If you want it to go fast do not take a horizontal, you often push food into the chimney
Any Hurom, omega, versapers, oscar, (vertical) will do nicely perfectly
Lol, I cook the potatoes with water, during this time I prepare 2-3 avocados and 4-10 raw egg yolk in a bowl and olive oil
Sometimes I feel like it, but this is rare, at least for this meal must be absolutely deserved it. This means that I will be intermittent fasting all day. I will do my sports routine until total exhaustion + at least 2 hours of walking outside, and after a cold shower, and then I relax
Hum un pays avec des arbres verts... Intéressant

Sometimes I feel like it, but this is rare, at least for this meal must be absolutely deserved it. This means that I will be intermittent fasting all day. I will do my sports routine until total exhaustion + at least 2 hours of walking outside, and after a cold shower, and then I relax

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Yesterday I got those updated vaccines from my family doc.
After a slew of questions of irrelevance which I will omit here.
A question that caught my interest was: "-" = aytundra's response
Do you take any supplements?
- No!
Vitamin D is a supplement to take. Do you take vitamin D?
- No, Do you take vitamin D?
2000 IU. Do you take supplements if others take them? {lol, seriously you are going to ask me a mimicry question?}
- No, b/c other people's physical requirement are different from me. For example, you weigh much more.
Vitamin D is not by weight, by age range.
- Oh, did not know that.
---
What do you guys think? Are vitamin D supplements of 1000 IU daily necessary?

What for?
Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Good question. Going to ask "What for", on Vitamin D, tomorrow.Oscar wrote:What for?

Hello again!
- Hey remember 2 days ago? You mentioned something about Vitamin D supplements. What for?
I recommend Vitamin D to everyone.
- Why? [points to a paper.] Vitamin D testing was not even circled on that paper? You don't know my Vitamin D levels.
The recommendation is for the whole country, from the physician's society. Most people are low in Vitamin D.
- Uhm but here, recommendation (of supplements) without proof.
Fair enough you studied biology*, you want to know your own levels. It will cost money. Testing used to be free years and years ago. Most of the people that took the test tested low for Vitamin D.
- How much?**
$x amount.
- Fine

[Part 3... coming soon.]
Aytundra is not that great of a question-er... meanwhile at the back of her brain she recalls that outdoor's sunshine may be able to give 10000IU of Vitamin D on the skin (without overdosing, as the skin will know when to limit Vitamin D production); Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. Fat soluble vitamins could accumulate; generally I think vitamins out of proportion is not good. And I believe ingested items are different from items synthesized by the body, synthesized in a place where the body knows how to handle it properly. I keep thinking back to that biology class in 2007/8 when my biology teacher mentioned in class [no article was cited] that ingested serotonin could be related to decreased bone health (elderly taking (ingesting) serotonin supplements), in reality, exercise should be the proper way to obtain serotonin because serotonin created in the brain stays there, versus ingested supplement has to travel, and travelling may affect other body parts. The biology teacher of 2006/7 said that calcium supplements are different, make sure the right type of calcium is taken as one of them does not get used; the take home message from these high school biology classes are that supplements have to be questioned! As usual aytundra goes off topic in her thinking again.
* Close but not quite, studying biology is nothing. The real idea, is are people around me going to use real thinking and apply real thinking.
** The thing I am after is not: "Oh look, the level is low***, and hey you should take supplements.", but it might become that.
I am after the idea of "The level is lower than the recommended levels. Why is that like that? Is that acceptable? Are levels recommended too high? What are the bases of the recommended levels? Just because something is not of the average or norm or recommended levels of the moment, Does that mean that it should be altered (with supplements)? Why supplements first at the tip of the tongue, when sunlight is abundant for advice?"
lol, I doubt I will get the line of: "Oh look, the level is high, stay out of sunlight to make less vitamin D.".

Okay guys, What should I ask next?

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Actually, it has been shown that even over-exposure to sunlight may cause kidney stones, due to excess vitamin D.
Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Of fair warning received; i see, i should stay out of excessive sunlight, as per friend of vampires that sparkle like stone under sunlight.
0) But in the absence of excess dietary calcium than over-exposure to sunlight could it still cause kidney stones?
1) There are orange juice marketed with Vitamin D, and Calcium fortification.
Vitamin C is in most Concentrated orange juice.
Orange peels contains oxalates.
Oxalate from skins of orange peels could get into the juice.
Fortified orange juice with Vitamin D and Calcium is probably not a good idea.
I wonder if people consuming them are more likely to get kidney stones?
2) Calcium supplements marketed with Vitamin D, fortification.
In diets of high oxalates plus these supplements; I wonder if people consuming them are more likely to get kidney stones?
3) If fish and eggs are sources of Vitamin D and calcium.
Is it a good idea to drink oj near the time of eating fish and eggs?

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Calcitriol (the hormonally active metabolite of vitamin D) increases blood calcium levels by increasing the absorption rate of dietary calcium and increasing renal reabsorption. And Calcitriol also stimulates the release of calcium from bone tissue by osteoclasts.Aytundra wrote:due to excess vitamin D" ...metabolizing calcium to the kidneys? and then calcium combining in conjunction with oxalic acid inducing calcium-oxalate stone formation? ... So, what is excess calcium is not so much defined by the intake level, but also the uptake, reabsorption and bone resorption levels.
These are highly influenced by vitamin D.
Calcitriol also directly stimulates osteoblast differentiation and activity (bone-forming), increasing osteoblast cell death rates.
Though when PTH levels are elevated, calcitriol is protective due to its inhibitory effects on PTH levels.
Yes, the combination of high vitamin D, high calcium and high oxalates is a recipe for kidney stones.Fortified orange juice with Vitamin D and Calcium is probably not a good idea.
