No, they dont help with digestion.
For digestion, your body has loads of different enzymes at its disposal, produced by the body.
Unless you have a rare, specific condition, digestion issues are never caused by a lack of some of these enzymes.

That is probably due to the high levels of proteolytic enzymes that they both may contain.
As they ripen, the levels go down, but eating these fruits may for example also hurt your lips / mouth.
If you do everything right for your body, you do not need laxatives.

@Emeira, do you think it could be related to a high level of stress hormones that you don't feel totally right on this diet? I'm just shooting.

I don't know... the thing is, I really like this way of eating: fruit, fruit juice, salads, yolks, slow cooked meat, salmon... but don't understand what is wrong with my hair??? they are so dry and brittle, growth rate super slow and I am losing it drastically. Why such a healthy diet doesn't regrowth it.

P.s have you ever tried protein powder? Is there any good in market? natural, without any synthetic stuff? Maybe in liquid form protein will be better absorbed.

Diet is not the only factor.
As Kasper suggested, stress is big factor.
Hormones are another factor.
have you ever tried protein powder?
Totally irrelevant for you, as you ingest plenty of protein already from yolks, meat and salmon.
I think you should look into the factors stress and hormones instead.

what about bcaa free form? I have problems digesting fat fish, meat because of low stomach acid.
Hormones are another factor.
if this is the case, can it be treated with a diet only?
hormones it is like a mistery to me...

Was that confirmed by a medical examination?

That does not justify your assumption.
You may lack certain enzymes, for example. You may react adversely to specific fatty acids. There are many possibilities.
Drinking vinegar may relief the symptoms.
Please get a proper diagnosis. Until then, its just speculation.
After the proper diagnosis, you may do something about it.
then im doomed
Even a birth control pill may fix it.

@Emeira I think bad digestion and stress hormones are very much related. I would explore that path as well, if I where you.

In the past I used, probitics, HCL, sauerkraut, physilium fiber, boabab (prebiotic) and stuff like that, to get my digestion under control.

Then, I experimented with supplements that lower stress hormones( cortisol, adrenalin). It was an eye opener for me, my energy level dropped, I felt tired, but I felt super relaxed, and I just knew that some stuff really began to heal.

After a week of feeling tired, my digestion improved. I never take any of the prebiotic, probiotic stuff anymore, or hcl, and my digestion is prefect, whatever I eat. I don't eat grains, legumes, beans, fried food, non fresh food and meat that is cooked on high temps. But everything else I tried, don't give me digestive problems.

So RRM probably will argue against supplements that lower stress hormones, I think it is not strictly necessary. Although I think it can be helpful even if you take, it just a couple of times, to feel what it means to be truly relaxed. To now, what kind of feeling you are looking for.

Suff like yoga and meditation, have similar effects, but takes a bit more discipline, but is in the end, the ideal choice, I would say. Of course, there are many obvious life style choices that can reduce stress hormones as well.

Before you start changing your current diet of what you are eating, or changing your schedule to fit more yoga, meditation, and exercise etc...
and blaming your hair problem as a diet or a stress problem.

Maybe your hair products or pattern of using hair products are the problem.
Have you tried changing your hair products or pattern?
Some people find that Shampoo Wash Condition, the typical pattern of caring for hair does not work for them.
Instead they find that Condition Wash Condition, is what their hair loves.

"So dry and brittle"
- Sounds like the hair shaft lost moisture.
- Hair is simply a long long piece of protein, some people view hair stoically as dead protein or cells anyways, there are no nerve cells in it, you can cut it for a hairstyle, you can bleach it and colour it, you can put a lot of shampoo and dry it out, and basically the hair will not complain to you that the hair dryer is drying it out, it cannot talk either.

Eating more nutritious food will not make it to the ends of your hair, it will very unlikely travel over decimeters of protein to reach that spot of hair next to your shoulder, there is simply no path, hence, diet will not likely change the brittleness of these strands of hair.

Meditating, yoga and exercise will not reduce the stressy look of hair, unless you move it out of sight in a pony tail for exercise, and leave the mirror alone while closing your eyes to meditate, and shifting your awareness to the pretzel pose you can hold in a yoga session.

- What shampoo are you using? Some shampoo dries hair out, and the scalp too.
- Have you tried the Conditioner Only Method, or Condition Wash Condition, using no shampoo.
- Some people change their patterns of drying, and not the washing method...i.e. using a turban or towel to keep moisture over using a hair dryer...
- There are many hair forums out there that promotes no poo or no shampoo methods, and some of these forums talks about using conditioner only on hair, as it works to restore moisture to hair and prevent shampoo or other hair products from drying out the hair and scalp...etc.
http://www.longhaircommunity.com/
http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/forum.php
https://www.reddit.com/r/HaircareScienc ... cowashing/

- Because each person's hair and scalp is different, you will have to find the pattern your hair likes.

- There are also those popular things such as hair mask, that leaves some moisture for the hair to soak, and when you wash it out your hair is suppose to be shiny and soft.

"growth rate super slow"
- it could be because your hair is snagging from the brittleness or dryness, leaving strands shorter than what you would have liked your hair to look like.

I experimented with supplements that lower stress hormones
which do you recommend?

I don't use shampoo anymore, only natural products to wash my hair ( yolks, dilute vinegar etc)

Ok,
so we can assume that shampoo is not causing dry brittle hair.

What is etc?

Next question: Are you using oil on your hair. ie. Coconut oil?

- Just because an item used on your hair is from a natural product, does not mean that their chemical properties don't change the hair shaft moisture content.

- It is funny to read that coconut oil can cause dry brittle hair because of indirectly allowing accumulation of too much protein on hair:

These 2 websites talks about that. It seems that some people have hair that cannot tolerate extra protein sitting on their hair, even from hair products that imparts extra protein, and that their hair is better off without extra protein treatment or extra product that encourages protein accumulation.
When extra protein is on their hair, their hair gets dry and brittle really fast.

At first those people had nice hair from the coconut oil treatment, because the oil helps gives it that smooth soft touch, but then over time or repeating coconut oil, it instead accumulates protein, causing hair to be dry and brittle.
Egg yolks contains protein? Could that be a source of protein?
https://www.google.ca/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=-u3 ... rying+hair
http://www.hairbuddha.net/coconut-oil-m ... hair-type/
But, it also depends on hair type, some people's hair can tolerate coconut oil for many days.

Also from the long hair community forum/ website, the forum owner wrote an article about using avocado oil over using coconut oil.
and some people's hair liked oil blends over just only coconut oil.

@Aytundra I'm not an expert on hair but using egg yolks for washing and a combination of coconut oil/olive oil/red palm oil for styling, always has done wonders for my hair:

Image

Anyway, I doubt that Emeira's hair problems only come from over use of coconut oil, but even if so, the digestive issues are not going to be cured by using a different shampoo I would say :)

@Emeira I can't actively recommend anything non-Wai on this forum, but this is what I used, or sometimes use, for reducing stress. Basically, those substances seems to increase GABA, and decrease cortisol, adrenalin and glutamate overexcitement.

- Taurine (I would say this has given me the best effects, also directly improves digestion, by increasing stomach acid)
- Theanine (give similar effects as meditation to me)
- Magnesium (magnesium glycinate), both the magnesium and glycine are helpful.
- Glycine (I don't supplement glycine, but eat gelatin)

I order from http://purebulk.com/. They sell powders, and capsules without any extra additives

By the way, about meditation, yoga. This is just an example. There are other activities that could fill those roles as well. I think anything that makes you focus more on your body, and less on your thoughts/worries. Dancing is also a good example.
