So many forests. So many different rules and habbits.
If you stand your ground, everyone will accept.
As they accept all the peculiarities of so many weird people in the city.
Well said. Beautiful twist in perspective.

1 orange sliced
250ml2tbspsugarwater

2 slices of Hawaiian pizza (pineapple, ham and cheese)***
Several bites of crab meat steamed

250ml2tbspsugarwater
10 cherries

4 bites of T-bone steak, baked (It was well done / fully cooked)
1 meatball
4 clumps of watercress boiled + 1 cup of watercress water
1 bowl of rice
12 cherries

2ml of gelato icecream (yes 2ml, it was just the sauce on the spoon, I did not eat icecream, I tasted icecream)
1 yolk
------
***
That was silly of me.
I got a phone call:
They asked,
Do you want pizza?
I said sure.
Do you want crab?
I said fine.
(My mind thought, crab, we just had lobster yesterday. Guess I will be eating more shellfish protein today, better that than charred BBQ.)

They brought home pizza and crab.
I gazed at the large pizza, to see what flavour they got.
Hawaiian, awesome. I like pineapples, there’s fruit. That’s good.
Then my mind did a double take…
yikes!
Right I have this diet thing going on…
I have cursed myself not to touch cheese.
I forgot pizza had cheese...
Uggh…
I am surprised my mind numbed me on that.
I guess my mind does not register food items while it is talking over the phone.
Purely in sound mode, and oblivious to draw food items visually or to process them synaesthesially,
Duh, I would have picked up on the zz-ish white cheese of pi"zz"a like the word mo”zz”erella.
If only I had used my visual processing simultaneously while listening.
But I am pleasantly surprised at this brain fart.

250ml2tbspsugarwater
6 pieces of French fries
1 bite of scrambled eggs with chives
12 cherries

1 hotdog with ketchup mustard and relish*
1 laminated cup of sprite/7up *

1 grain of wild rice **
+ refused a sample with feta cheese (aurora aytundra is back)

250ml2tbspsugarwater
2 slices of orange (it was a dry orange, skin membranes leave a bitter aftertaste, but it was not acidic. Was the orange old?)

3 clumps of leafy veggies boiled with 1 teaspoon of avocado oil
Several bites of crab meat steamed
8 pieces of chicken wings steamed
1 bowl of rice
250mlwater

1 yolk
----------
*I was stranded in the middle of nowhere and there were only fast food establishments…
**yes 1 “grain”, the wild rice has a mild bitter after taste, from that brown exterior coating on that one grain of rice.
Theoretically that probably is a good source of thiamin…etc but then we also have fiber and all the cooked stuff;
I gave the rest of the sample away to someone else who actually enjoys the taste.

When you walk through a store and you have Wai food items in mind,
you will see past the colourful packaging to what is really inside.
Then you will realize how empty that store is.
There is simply nothing good to buy.

How many of you feel bored as if the Wai diet stole the joy from shopping at the supermarket?
Rather, how many of you feel excited to see so many erroneous items in the supermarket?
Pick one and answer, likes to hear some thoughts. (Maybe this should be a new thread.)

[Aside: Thank you Mr. PC for setting out a mission for me today.
(Link to the other thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=233)
I went to 2 different stores and found the vitamin water you were talking about.
That was fun.
Finally something fun to do in supermarkets! :D
There is a caveat to that bottle, the colourful water is food coloured with vegetable colorants (the natural colourings).
......and veggies are not allowed on this diet!]

Detailed answer: Veggies are colourful, because they have chloroplasts, tannins, carotenes, lycopene, carotenoids...
some are good, but most are bad when heated.
How did they extract these vegetable dyes (or natural colourings)? - would be the main question to ask.
+ What are the vegetable dyes that they are using?
If they used 100% pure lycopene, without other contaminants, then heating might be fine. imo.
Other vegetable colourants under heat treatment is questionable. imo.

RRM wrote:Tannins are also bad when not heated, as are anti-nutrients in general.
Deconstructs RRM's sentence:
Tannins are an anti-nutrient.
Most anti-nutrients are broken down by heat.
So anti-nutrients are bad when not heated.
Indeed, tannins are also bad when not heated.
And if heated, heated tannins are bad because they are heated.

aytundra wrote:... tannins, carotenes, lycopene, carotenoids...

Deconstructs Aytundra's sentence:
These are used as vegetable colourings sometimes in drinks: chlorophyll, tannins, carotenes, lycopene, carotenoids...
Heated these are bad: tannins, carotenes, carotenoids
Not heated this is bad: tannins
Heated this is good: lycopene
Not heated these are good: carotenes, carotenoids

1 bowl of oatmeal with yams

~60+ cherries*
250ml7tbspsugarwater
250mlwater~ 5.5tbsp remaining
several bites of egg white (eggwhite platter of ~5 egg whites) **
250mlwater~ 3.5tbsp remaining
3 bites of egg white
250mlwater~ 1tbsp remaining
5 bites of egg white
250mlwater
4 bites of egg white

29 cherries

2 clumps of leafy veggies boiled with 1 teaspoon of avocado oil
Several bites of crab meat steamed
1 bowl of chicken mushroom soup
1 bowl of rice
------------------------
*(1 cherry, 2 cherries, 3 cherries... 8 cherries, 8 cherries, 1 handful,...backtracks and counts the pits, 27cherries, 28 cherries...Sorry Dime, I lost count. Counting by dimes are a lot easier 10, 20, 30... :) )
**(leftover eggwhites from past days), steamed at boiling water, turned off heat in 7 minutes and then allowed the egg to sit in the steam.
----------------------
sugar water & egg whites
I was balancing the acid taste of too much sugar by consuming proteins.
I was balancing the bland taste and egg fuming smell of egg whites with sugar.
The egg fumes decreased after I left the eggs out on the glass plate for an hour.
Those later bites of egg whites tasted better, less egg fumes. Whiter looking egg whites.
The last jar of water had less than 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, plain water tasted disgusting at that point.

Yesterday's diet was brought to you by my dura mater (sans dura).
Unfortunately I do not live on my own island.
The only treason I have commited was buying Shreddies.
Other than that, about 95% of my foods are bought by others.
It is hard.
Raw aytundra supplied the clementines, yesterday.

If it makes you feel any better this is what I have been eating today so far:
6 thickmembranepeeledclementines
250ml12tbspsugarwater
250mlwater~ 9.5 tbsp remaining
250mlwater~ 7.5 tbsp remaining
1 thickmembranepeeledorange (still eating it, I've stalled, half of that jpg remains in my bowl, eating as I type.)
250mlwater~ 5.5 tbsp remaining (on 4thjar currently, I've stalled there too)
+ refused a bowl of spaghetti. (so far so good, no UnWai items yet...)

Your precious comments, Call it done! Pizza, crab, and fried chicken, joins cheese on the cursed list this instant.
I guess this game skips to level 4 now. Thanks for the cheat code. :)
RRM wrote: Regarding diet, you are making the progress of a snail in reverse.
Regarding the landscape, this snail climbs glass walls of skyscrapers.
Gravity abounds, it is not a surprise that it slips and slides on glass walls.
RRM wrote: 10 pages of pizza, crab and fried chicken...
Hmm…, imo, i think the progress now is snowballing a little faster, considering I sat on the fence for at least 2 years* before trying “raw” egg yolks. (Imagine, what if I had wrote 2 years ago? I think I would easily be on page 100, I saved you from the need to speed read a hundred pages.)

*For cracking the eggs on yolks, Aytundra has Oscar to thank. "Thanks Oscar!"
Oscar wrote: by Oscar » Thu Apr 24, 2014 8:04 am
Cooking a soft-boiled egg doesn't make the yolk raw
And has RRM to thank, for untangling the methods to raw yolks. May 10th, hahaha, sorry if I bothered you with a lot of questions that day. It seems silly now, I get it now. But I was clueless back then. Even after lurking and reading the forum for 2 years. It made no sense."Thanks RRM!"
RRM wrote:
Aytundra wrote: if the egg whites around it are boiled, and the yolk is still liquid, is it raw?
If it is not boiled at all, then its raw.
If it is somewhat less liquid, its not raw.
No, because the heat does not stop right there at the border between white and yolk.
The yolk will always be affected.
Though it still took me a while before I actually reached the first raw egg yolk on May 17, 2014, and Here is the answer to that day's puzzle.

6 thickmembranepeeledclementines 40min
250ml12tbspsugarwater
250mlwater~ 9.5 tbsp remaining
250mlwater~ 7.5 tbsp remaining
1 thickmembranepeeledorange 19min
250mlwater~ 5.5 tbsp remaining
+ refused a bowl of spaghetti.
250mlwater~ 5.5 tbsp remaining
250mlwater~ 2.5 tbsp remaining
3 yolks consecutively 5-7min
250mlwater~ 0.5 tbsp remaining
1 orange, sliced 12min

1 teaspoon of guacamole and salsa
1 triangular corn chip - 5cm height and base x 2mm thin.*
1 bowl of Taiwanese beef noodles (by social aytundra)
-----
*(It had a bitter after taste. And I only had 1 chip! New tastebuds, uuh I am "taste"washed by raw foods. Every food item before that: clementines, orange, sugarwater & yolks did not have a bad a taste.)
-----
Today's Highlights "New Current Tolerance levels":
Yolks = 3 consecutively (New limit. Used to be 2.)**
Orange = 2/day
Clementines = 6/day (Limit not really challenged, # inhibited by the time it takes to peel fruit.)
Sugar = 12tbsp
Water = 1.750L

**I can probably do more a larger volume of yolks consecutively, but I will have to restock the fridge.
(I restocked yesterday, so this week will be more interesting. - raw aytundra)
I had wanted to increase yolk intake last week.
But I had to ration out the eggs to 1 per day because others will plunder supplies.
I also space my yolk intake so that egg whites are not eaten on the same day as egg whites,
and that yolks are not taken in on days that I eat too much junk munch or fast foods.
Rationale: Is that I am trying to optimize nutrition, while preventing it from interacting with bad stuff...

Now as for all Wai items in general, yolks, orange, sugar, fruits...
If you have noticed, the volumes and intake fluctuate. They are not on a strict schedule of intake i.e. 1 per day every day, but with pauses in-between. However, I have not been strict with any rigid controlled schedule i.e. x amount on x day, it is a little bit more laissez-faire. As for the volumes of food item, it is intended to be a gradual increase for each food item building tolerance. The theory behind this approach is by behavioural psychology aytundra, she intends fruit eating behaviour to stick like a solid habit. Such that even if she inadvertantly stops eating Wai items for a week for vacation or something (Haha, if Others make her), she will be able to pick up the fruit eating behaviour again quickly.

- in plain english, aytundra is trying to add friction to the glass walls of the skyscraper, such that it is more rock climbing. If she slips she just falls to the tier below but never to the cement.
(Hmm...I guess that was not too plain of plain english, you need some physics to understand that.)

Raw aytundra agrees with RRM, the snail indeed was progressing slowly in reverse.
But overall aytundra says "not really..."
Ah we will wait and see...
