On isoretinoin pills I recall having almost no sebum production at all. Or none at all.. more or less.. I guess the true skin is the pinkish layer just above the glands? I'm sorry, but I sometimes still find the 'water pressure pinching off-theory' hard to believe. The sebaceous glands, in some pictures, appear to be so close to the epidermis.
