Something about leaving tuna out in the hot sun (or dehydrator in this case) that does not sound appetizing. But let us know how it turns out!

Improper nutrition most likely. Feeding dogs/cats a properly balanced raw food diet eliminates and prevents things like this. I know that my dogs don't have a flea problem anymore after eating raw for a couple months. My kittens are vibrant as well, never took any of my pets to a vet.

I wouldn't go right for a snake. They tend to fight to the death and bite, which may or may not be venomous. I'd definitely look for other food sources that can't kill/poison me (fish, small game, birds, whatever) first. But yes, I'd rather eat cooked snake than none at all. Definitely would not eat...

Should I just go to a regular dentist? Or like a cosmetic dentist? I will try to go in this week to see what is involved.

I once ate most of a pineapple. Yea, my tongue stung a lot, but I kept eating. Guess what? My tongue started bleeding! I couldn't comfortably eat anything for 2 days afterwards, the stinging became so bad.

I know what it was that I was doing that caused this. For the last couple months (2-3 maybe) I went out with friends maybe every other week for sushi. I always had a little too much, plus some 'munch' foods as well (sake, rice, you know how it goes). So I would take the next couple days off from eat...

Piece of front tooth chipped off

Hey everyone, I've haven't been on for a while, you may or may not have noticed. Anyways, just 5 minutes ago I felt like I had a piece of food stuck inbetween my two front teeth. I went to go check it out in the mirror, lo and behold, it is a chip off my tooth, right where the front two teeth come t...

So how bad is it (relative to the raw and heat-cooked forms) for one to eat marinated fish like that? Disregarding any salt or other substances in the marinade, of course...

Perhaps we can pool money together to buy one or two batches of those pure liquid free-amino-acids. One or two people would be in charge of shipping some to each paying member. That way we only get what we need, and don't have to spend $200 each. I would buy 50 dollars worth.

I felt really strange after eating mackerel from a sushi bar for the first time, as it was marinated/cooked. But no nausea or throwing up.

I will be trying some sushi rice along with some sashimi next time I go out. I'll let you know what happenes.

Never thought of that. Great idea!

I'll keep that in mind next time I catch myself some blackfin (local to the Gulf) tuna.

You are also many times more likely to find a place that sells fresh fish if your city has direct access to a large body of water/ocean. IE if you can drive down to the city pier and watch fish boats come in during early morning, you probably can find several places to buy fresh fish. On the other h...

Excellent! Yes, it is more difficult for some. I personally can only tolerate 60g raw fish, so I was wondering why I continued to get acne when I ate 100g fish each day while sticking to Wai. You have to see what works for you, and stay within those boundaries, and then all it takes is a little time...
