Thanks for your input Oscar. With regard to pregnancy, I alredy have a daughter who is almost three and I had some problems with her getting constipated when I introduced her to baby foods (potatoes were pretty bad for her). So this time around I want to do it right. I'm pretty lucky I guess because...

Thanks for reassuring me with regard to the amount of protein, minerals and vitamins I have been consuming. I was worried there for a minute. All I know is that this diet has been extremely beneficial to my health overall although it is at times hard to follow when your surrounded by people trying t...

Re: Hair issues

We all have 'seasons' regarding hair loss; sometimes its more, sometimes its less, so that by itself doesnt mean anything yet, unless it is sustained. How long would sustained be? A matter of weeks or a matter of months? Thats perfect regarding the 'sample diet', which is the initial stage of tryin...

Hair issues

I've noticed lately that a lot more hair than usual comes out when I brush my hair. It's not clumps or anything, but it's much more than usual (like say 100 hairs compared to 30-40 before). The last time this happened to me was several years ago when my diet was pretty bad (lots of pasta, cake etc.)...

Prepared mustard

Since I don't have any sushi restaurants very close to my home, I've been buying fresh anchovies from the fish stand at the supermarket here (anchovies tend to be very fresh here and I like the fact that they are supposed to have less mercury and other stuff in them). To jazz them up I have been dip...

Raw apple cider vinegar

Would it be alright to use raw apple cider vinegar on a regular basis? I get it from the health food store and it's not pasteurized (thank goodness). I saw that balsamic vinegar is alright so I presume apple cider vinegar would be alright too. By the way, it is possible to get truly natural (chemica...

Has anyone tried making ceviche from anchovies or sardines? Here in Italy anchovies are commonly used as the key ingredient in ceviche. I'm thinking about making that my regular raw fish protein, since it's very fresh and very inexpensive.

Ciao,

Dawn

Hi everyone, Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post and for welcoming me to the board. With regard to Oscar's question about munch foods, I'm planning on using them minimally when absolutely necessary (out at someone's house for dinner etc.). I wanted to include cream as a regular munch fo...

Organic vs. factory farmed fruit

Hi, I'm new to this board. I don't have acne but I do have cellulite. However, I'm also following the diet for health reasons. Today was my first day and so far so good. I just have some questions. First, Wai says to peel all fruits to get rid of pesticides. What if I purchase organic fruits. Do the...
