I bought it accidently instead of salmon (looks the same) and i took two bites before i realized the difference. it tasted delicious (more fatt...

i thought the same thing, but in that article brazil nuts and avocados are also used in the calculations. i'm allergic to nuts so i think that's where i miss out. also it would mean eating *a lot* of fruit when denser foods like nuts and avocados are excluded.

thanks. yes i'm noticing that avocados don't go well :( but it could be the fiber content rather than the fat - but fats are also hard - pffff - i'll seriously be glad to keep food down (like it's supposed to be!!!). right now my best things are juices (alas no oil - just doesn't stay down) and carr...

i must defend my doctor a bit: first off it's antroposophic medication - not traditional. The prescription was based on carefully recorded body temperature (consistently between 35 and max 36.1 degrees celcius) and inexplicable weight gain, plus other symptoms. Also, over the past year I've had a lo...

oh marialinn that sucks that you can't even exercise without breaking out!!! that must be really hard on you as an active person. i'm assuming that it happens b/c your blood sugar doesn't stay stable when exercising - and that you're just really sensitive to that. but exercise is supposed to help wi...

protein alternatives?

i'm doing the wai diet to improve my health. i am allergic to nuts and can't keep sashimi down (i don't know why - too fatty probably). 1 or 2 egg yolks daily go ok. i've done calculations with the nutrient calculator and i only come up with 20 - 30 g of protein a day. right now my diet consists of ...
