Cairidh, So, you were eating only fruit? No fats? If you were eating all that fruit with no fats, it was probally a blood sugar problem. Wai and RRM said you get sufficient proteins just from eating fruits alone. The whole idea is to use the nuts and avocadoes to balance the blood sugar from the fru...

If I get too much olive oil the same thing happens to me. Just try drinking it with the oj and eggs only. Also, try mixing some saliva with the drink before you swallow to get some digestive juices going to help with digestion. I read in one forum that I go to that you should "chew" your liquids and...

Bambi- I hear ya. I'm sorry to hear about your great-grandmother. We just found out my grand mother has lung cancer. I hope you cheer up soon! In what you said about fruits, fruit that is good, meaning juicy and sweet, is a big factor in my staying raw. Where I live there is a good selection, but I ...

Hi Sher! Wellll, let's just say that I have been working on it! :) I started doing weights once a week and it's helped a lot. My deal is that I have to be really strict for the diet to work. I went 20 days 100% straight a month ago and it made a huge difference. I couldn't hardly see it at all. So, ...

Cairidh, Actually, I have that book and I've read it. I've read several raw books and I know so much about what cooked food does to your body that I can't believe I still even want it! I know that if I can just get off the stuff long enough, that the cravings do go away. I mainly eat cooked when fam...

Today was a much better day but then I started craving Indian food. That is what I crave, spicy foods. I haven't gone off the deep end yet though! I think I just need to keep my self busy like everyone suggested. Sula, I now know for a fact that is why people are so addicted to processed foods, beca...

Are you drinking any teas or coffee? That will cause yellowing as well. I don't think the orange juice would cause that. I've noticed when I don't consume munch food my teeth are a lot whiter. Mabye it's the kind of munch foods you are consuming. They change the ph of your saliva. That is how the te...

Fighting cravings for munch food
Hi everyone! Okay, I need some suggestions for fighting cravings. I was doing so well, no munch food, for over 20 days. My boyfriend brought over a pizza one night, my weakness by the way, and I have been eating munch food every since! I thought I would have a piece or two, very bad idea. I really d...

The calcium reqirements on this diet are different than on the standard diet. Your body automaticaly adjusts the absorbsion rate for what ever nutrients you need. I'm finding it harder to find a man attractive, expecially my age. I still look like I'm 25 and they all look 45-50!!! I'm 36. I'm dating a man that is three years ...
