Maybe not the place for this question, but I am curious about your opinion on regular anti -parasite treatment of animals like dogs and horses. Heart worm (?) (hartworm in dutch) can be fatal to dogs, horses can get really ill/could die from certain parasites. Is it because their immune system fails ...

Isn't a lot of (supermarket) chicken (or other meat available in supermarkets) previously frozen and /or gamma irradiated for contamination control?

first : establish the weight (because of the density you probably do not need to get the volumetric weight, because you won't ship much air when shipping nuts). second: choose a shipping company. most courier services have one-day or expedited (=slower and cheaper) services. If you would like to use...

one of the nutsuppliers in the usa you (RRM) referred to in one of my previous posts does not ship brazil nuts outside of the us. probably because of the stricter EU rules concerning the amount of aflatoxine B1. I have not yet found any supplier in the Benelux area for unshelled ones. anyone?

munch food questions, eggs, olive oil, streaky bacon

After returning form holiday in Italy where I ate a lot of fruit, but also pasta and lovely cheese, here at home I could not get the nice ripe fruits there are in the Mediterranean area. I was feeling sick from eating sour tomatoes and cucumber and I loathed the sugary taste of other fruits......And...

first timer sashimi

Yesterday I had sashimi for the first time in my life. Or better: I ate fish for the first time in my life (except for kroepoek and asian food which often contains fish sauce/paste). I don't like the smell of (non fresh) fish. Anyway, the sushi bar told me the the fish was fresh (not previously froz...

Now you mention that, I have the same experience with my ears. Unfortunately after doing wai for 30 days, I was not able to stick to the diet all through my holiday in Italy (I fell for ricotta and mozzarella-freshly made, right before my eyes), although I had the best orange juice, lemon juice and ...

Hi Johndela1 This uncontraction is often stated as muscle lengthening. A lot of people have very strong (short/tight) hipflexers and (consequently) tight hamstrings. You see them walking in the streets, with flat feet, almost kicking their legs in front of them, not rolling over the soles of their f...

contact lenses are much cleaner

Today I discovered that I should have taken new contacts about a week ago (mine are 1 month day and night soft contacts, but I only wear them during the day for a period of 2 months).
My contacts are much cleaner (less "fatty") and I the corners of my eyes are much cleaner too.Cool!

wow, almost painless menstruation period!

I am a happy camper! Here are my results so far: after 2 weeks of almost 100% sample diet (I had 3 "standard" meals during these 2 weeks): much softer skin, no more oilyness and more importantly, to my big surprise, the first day of my period was almost painless, and so far:no headaches. Sipping OJ+...

Anti-cancer power in the peel? (/ orange pith)

Today in my Medscape newsletter: Apple's Power Lies in the Peel The anti-cancer power of apples may lie in the peel, according to a report in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. Analysis of apple peels found a high concentration of phytochemicals that have been shown to have powerful ant...

Hi guys, thank you for lectures on muscles. I am really interested in anatomy, moving, muscles and the nervous system. Keep in mind that if you learn stuff about pilates from a pilates website, it is possible promotional. There is more than the www: conferences, continuing education programs, books!...
