Accutane is toxic?

I read from a website that Accutane is very toxic to the human body. The websites I read from are: http://www.natural-acne-solution.com/accutane-side-effects.html http://www.sexualtips.net/accutane_affecting_sex.htm For me, my acne isnt that bad to justify taking Accutane. I think its side effects h...

Thanks for the info

Hi CY, thank you for telling me. I didnt know that; I figured if I hadnt asked I would have thought that roe was perfectly OK to eat for the Wai diet. I didnt seem to get break-outs from eating roe if I hadnt known all these I would have continued eating it indefinitely, thereby ingesting all those ...

Sushi rice as munchie

I have another question about the sushi rice. How much of it can we eat as a munchie to remain below protein limit of 15g/day ? Is the 15g limit universal for all?

What about salmon roe?

In Japanese restaurants, salmon roe is sometimes offered as part of the salmon sashimi and I am wondering if this is OK to eat without adversely affected an acne condition?

Also, what about Miso soup?

Hello, I am doing very well here. My skin has never been clearer since the past 2 years. My condition has gone from 4-5 cystic acne per day, to 1-2 whiteheads/blackheads per week. I think with the progress I am seeing, 100% acne free skin is within reach. Some changes I made to my diet: evolving fro...

Slowly moving back to normal diet. Suggestions?

Hello, has anyone here done the diet for sometime, with some degree of success in ridding their acne, and then move slowly back to a normal diet? Right now, I am 100% Wai in the morning and afternoon but eating a normal asian meal in the evening. I am noticing my skin is still very dry and not break...

My experience

Hello all! I just thought I would drop by to report on my progress so far. It has been almost a month since I started the Wai Diet. To me, it has been a rollercoaster ride and I admit that I havent been 100% strict during this whole time. The acne around my neck is clearing up really quickly now and...

Well....

Haha...I guess you're right. Unless I know how to make raisins myself, I'm just gonna have to take their word, don't I? I've checked all the brands available and most of them have sulfur as preservative or have glazing agents/oils added. This is about the best I can get.

Sun dried or not?

I dug deeper into their webpage and this is what I found: Sun-Maid has earned its reputation as “America’s favorite” for raisins and dried fruits. The process of making our raisins requires Thompson Seedless grapes – plump and flavorful – and the extended period of drying sun found in California’s S...

What exactly does tallow canals pinching off means?

This may sound like a simple question but what does 'pinching off' really mean when describing tallow/sebum canals? Does it mean the canals are narrower? If the canals get narrower, combined with high tallow production, then they get blocked easier, leading to acne inflammations? The cause of tallow...

Is my diet OK?

Hello I appreciate if anyone can help me. I am a 25 year old oriental male 5'7 tall and weighing around 130+ lbs. The reason I'm doing the diet is because of the acne which I have, pretty nasty, around my jawline and neck areas. Other parts of my skin are pretty much well-behaved. That includes my b...

I am a first timer trying to drain the yolk from the sac and its a MESS! Can anyone shorten my learning curve and explain exactly how to do it as cleanly and efficiently as possible? How to test if an egg is fresh? And what are the signs of food poisoning from ingesting a not-so-fresh egg? I've been...

What about animal derived food?

Ok, fresh orange juice with olive oil. What about animal protein? Should I take raw fish or eggs? I find that neither meets the criteria, i.e., raw fish should be fresh but here I was told it is frozen before being served. And the eggs are hatched from hens that I suspect have been fed growth hormon...

Sick while on the diet

I wonder if anyone can help me. I developed fever, coughing and runny nose while I was on the diet. Probably not caused by the diet itself cos I knew I had been slightly ill before I started. I went to see a doctor and he prescribed drugs and antibiotics for the common ailment. Is it OK to take this...
