Chemical pasteurization
I was buying unshelled almonds from nutsonline.com and they said that the almonds were chemically pasteurized and not heat pasteurized. Because the almond nut is still in the shell, is the meat of the nut still considered "clean" as far as pasteurization (since it was not heated) and the Wai Diet? A...

I found two things I was hoping that someone could give me on input on regarding whether these sunblocks contain ingredients that we should avoid. Here's the first one: Ingredients: Certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Wildcrafted Seaweed, Certified Organic Aqueous Herbs of Lavender & Roman Chamomile Fl...

Recommend a sunblock?
I saw Wai's criteria for what to look for in a sunblock, but I've had a super hard time finding any brand that fit that criteria. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Vaseline?
I looked on the old forum archive and Wai said that Vaseline was OK to put on dry lips. I know that Vaseline probably doesn't have Vitamin E, but isn't it an unnatural chemical and ultimately be harmful to the body?

Wild rice....
I know that regular rice is not good because it needs to be cooked. What about wild rice that you soak for 3 - 4 days? There isn't any cooking, so there isn't a negative effect from heat. I read that certain negative components are removed from the soaking. Are there are negative components that sti...

By the way, here's something else that is kind of funny in regards to odor. I have a nanny and she will change the diapers of my 2 year old son. When my son eats something that is not part of the pure Wai Diet, she can tell because his poop is horrible smelling- to the point she feels like she is go...

I eat about every 3 hours. But in general, I just eat when I'm hungry. I don't have a set schedule. Sometimes it's small- like some juice with olive oil and yoke and a banana. Sometimes it is larger, like juice with olive oil, the salad, and some raw fish or beef. I just go by how I feel. If I'm fee...

Yeah, I'm truly amazed that it is possible for a dog not to have an unpleasant smell that we typically associate with dogs. After washing her with just water, a friend of mine smelled her and thought I had used some sort of soap because she had no negative odor. It was just a kind of neutral dog sme...

My dog has always had a very high food drive. She's eager to eat everything. Plus, my dog is extremely well trained. She never shows any food possessiveness. My 3 year old could walk up and take her meat and she wouldn't do anything to him. Of course any dog will prefer the taste of meat over fruits...

My dog on Wai Diet....
My dog has always been on a raw food diet. However, I adjusted her diet a bit since I am doing the Wai Diet. I used to feed her vegetables, but I stopped doing that. Since I juice my fruit, I give her the juiced pulp (with olive oil). She also eats raw egg yoke. When we cut the skin off the raw fish...

Is red meat really that bad?
There's been a lot more doctors who are now saying that people need to decrease the amount of red meat they consume. Here's my question.... Are the health risks from eating a lot of red meat as result of it being cooked? For example, would the situation change, as far as the health risks that doctor...
