Yes, the energy is a bit much. I've now made a new calculation which gives me 3000 kcal, and I've decided to let the nutrients be for now. I've not left any nutrients out, but haven't bothered to get them all the way up to the RDA's. Energy may still be too high, but I'd rather start with too much a...

That's what I've been thinking as well, putting less junk in our bodies requires less nutrients to keep things balanced, or something like that.

energy first or nutrients first?

Over the past few days I've been playing with the nutrient calculator, and I find that to meet all (well, most) nutrient requirements I need to eat up to 3 kgs of food a day. With eating very small meals all the time, I have no idea how to fit that much food into my day. This example would be best n...

Thanks RMM, I'll do that, so far I'm still good. Just weighed(?) myself yesterday and it was still up where it should be, so that's nice! 8)

I've added no additional sugar to my juice this whole week, did add olive oil. This was perfectly fine, I was alert all day and had no problems with low energy or feeling tired! :D

carpaccio; is it really raw?

Does anyone know if carpaccio is really raw, or that it has been treated in any way?

And raw meat in general, is that really raw or no? I read something here about it being denatured or something, I'm not sure if that's the word.

I've been thinking about that too, this afternoon. Maybe it's the added sugar that causes the problem... We'll see next monday, I'll try one day without added sugar and one day with as much or more sugar than olive oil. See wgat happens. 8)

OK, I'll experiment with using more sugar, see how I feel with that. Right now I think the amount of OO I'm using sort of overrides the effects of the sugar. In which case it would make sense to add more sugar.

tired/sugar low, not enough sugar?

So today I made a litre of apple juice with 5 tbs OO and 2 teasp. raw honey. Since sipping the juice I've been feeling sleepy the whole time, my eyes want to fall shut. How much sugar should I add for 5 tbs of OO, to balance things out in favor of the sugar? Yesterday I had 5 tbs OO and 3 tea...

Today I made 1L of apple-smoothie (from the blender) with olive oil and sugaqr added, I sipped this throughout the time I spent in school (about 8 hours). Other than that I had banana chips (100g) and rice crackers (also 100g), and I was fine with that. No hunger, no cravings, and also no suger lows...
