Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

In Ray Peat's universe: - It is on the Peat's menu to eat some animal food. - It is on the Peat's menu to eat some fat. - It is on the Peat's theory to eat zero PUFA. Ray Peat's menu does not match Ray Peat's theory. Come on .... You are being so stubborn. On Wai's universe it is theorized that it ...

Re: Novidez's Journey - From non-Wai to Wai

Btw, is it possible to measure the stress levels? Actually, checking my cortisol levels would be interesting. I thought you tested with this quantum doctor your cortisol and adrenaline? It is surely possible, should be available in a standard blood test. What first test? The ones I did in the past?...

Re: Novidez's Journey - From non-Wai to Wai

As it comes to stress hormones, I think those can screw up your ability to listen to your body. Also maybe they actually raise blood sugar right? So that you don't feel this hungry of low blood sugar. Except what RRM says, maybe that is also something to try to work on. Maybe join a yoga class? Or f...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

Okay, say we are in peat universe, then we would believe the following is true: - It is healthy to eat some animal food - It is healthy to eat some fat, probably at least 20 gram of fat, maybe more? - It is healthy to limit PUFA as much as possible. At least less than 4 gram of PUFA a day. Theoretic...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

Yes, he does believe it is optimal theoretically .....
But practically, of course, he doesn't believe that. For the reasons I said a couple of times already.

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

[quote="Ray Peat's article on "Fats and degeneration" http://raypeat.com/articles/articles/fats-degeneration3.shtml "]About ten years ago I met a young man with a degenerative brain disease, and was interested in the fact that he (working on a fishing boat) had been eating almost a pound of salmon ...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

In theory Ray Peat think they are not necessary. I said that in my post...... In practice, that would mean eating no fat at all. Because every fat has PUFA. Of course we need to at fat and fatty food. So in practice it is about making sure to eat fatty food relatively low in PUFA and he advises tota...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

A) PUFA is in all foods, You are missing the point. It is not about eating no PUFA. That would mean eating no fat, which is not healthy in anyway. It is about making sure your fat intake contains relatively little PUFA. Btw, the problems with PUFA are not an invention of Ray Peat. Saying they are n...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

A Ray Peat says to limit PUFA, but not at all cost, egg yolks are extremely nutrient rich B I don't understand the question, but yes SFA mostly like coconut oil, butter C No, only in plant based fatty food like avocado, canola oil, sunflower oil D I think it is not ideal. But trouble? No. You will s...

I absolutely fail to see your point... You think we can eat omega 6 rich food without problems?

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc

Okay, this is how I see PUFA. You have two groups, omega-3 and omega-6. And as far as I know, they only thing they are really essential for is for producing prostaglandins. Maybe RRM knows more about this, but I don't know any other function. Ray Peat says, if you would not eat PUFA, your body will ...

Re: Wai Warrior - for autophagy - AN EXPERIMENT

I think stress hormones can do much havoc to libido. Since I focussed on decreasing stress hormones to the absolute minimum, my libido is super high, like as high as it was when I was 15. I still didn't feel any increase of my libido since I got here :(. But I wonder how my body copes with IF... Sti...

Re: Novidez's Journey - From non-Wai to Wai

Stress hormones in the morning can make you feel good and energetic.

But why you go sleep at 3 AM ?? It is not heaaaaalthy. Why your parents complain about your fruit consumption? They should tell you to go sleeeeep haha.

Re: Novidez's Journey - From non-Wai to Wai

Hee, I think you are underestimating how important a regular and normal sleep rhythm is for your health. One day you wake up at 9, then you wake up at 14? I think I saw studies on mouse showing this can cause problems like gut inflammation.
