Would someone be so kind as to explain to me the relationship between zinc and acne? I want to take 50mg of zinc a day which I understand helps heal acne. Thanks

Re: Accutane - the nuclear option?
Thank you RRM! I am on day 11.....I believe I am going through the initial breakout phase and that it is at a tailend but I will let you know how I progress in a couple of days. I feel it is working and restoring the balance in my body though. Premature but I am hopeful!

Re: Accutane - the nuclear option?
Thx. Seems to have not worked out very well for that person! Sorry to hear that. I am tolerating it rather well so far.....does anyone have more advice or experiences with this?

Accutane - the nuclear option?
Hi all, I have recently taken out an accutane prescription and on day 5 of the medication. Wai's diet is great, but I cannot go raw forever. So I have also added cooked foods to my diet. My hope is that the reduced sebum production will prevent new acne from forming even though the cooked foods may ...

Re: Mangoes = "heat"? What to pick in restaurant?
Well, it's mainly #2. Thx. I have a story to share. Today was Thanksgiving in Canada and my mother baked a turkey. I decided to buy myself raw sashimi and sushi from the store instead and brought enough for everyone to share. They loved it and in the end I didn't end up having any turkey except for ...

egg white mask
Is it safe to use the egg white from the eggs as a mask for removing superficial impurities from the skin?

Re: Mangoes = "heat"? What to pick in restaurant?
Thanks so much RRM. I love raw fish, but to be honest, I truly miss my other foods too. I used to be a fanatic about good food, and I think I overindulged which was a cause of my skin condition in the first place. Being on Wai's diet for the last 2 weeks has completely purified my skin. I want to st...

Re: Mangoes = "heat"? What to pick in restaurant?
Thx. I'll avoid the cooked fish.
What about cooked seafood - like scallops, crab or lobster, or mussels? Thanks so much guys.
also, if none of these options work should I just stick with the ganoche then? (the vegetarian dish) Thx so much

Re: Mangoes = "heat"? What to pick in restaurant?
Thx!! That's great advice. I will definitely order the salmon sashimi as an appetizer. For the main, what do you guys think of the following cooked items? (bearing in mind that I am off the strict diet and some of these are munch food) -Gnocchi: Wild mushrooms, asparagus, oven roasted tomatoes, toas...

Mangoes = "heat"? What to pick in restaurant?
Hi all, I guess life wouldn't be interesting at all without dilemnas. So here's mine. The great news is that I have complete trust in the diet. It works. My skin has cleared up so quickly and beautifully and naturally.... My first observation is that mangos seem to cause pimples for me, so I stay aw...

Re: Day 9 on the Wai Diet -- thinking ahead
Thank you guys! You are a god-send. Great news: The other person had to drive so we settled on something NON ALCOHOLIC! I had still water instead! Woohoo! My skin is even CLEARER today! I am sticking to this diet RELIGIOUSLY! The only one thing I note is that some of the skin is a superficially dry....

Re: Day 9 on the Wai Diet -- thinking ahead
Thanks. Clearing my acne is my number one priority. I want silky smooth skin (so that I can date again!) and it is healing very rapidly. I don't want to do anything to disrupt the process. This said, there is a balancing act because I love seafood...any and all types.....sigh.....and vegetable soup ...

Pieces of Sashimi?
Hi All,
I live on the west coast of Canada. Does anyone know how many pieces of sashimi would equal to 100grams approximately? Thanks

Day 9 on the Wai Diet -- thinking ahead
Hi guys, I am on day 9 of Wai Diet and my skin is clearing up amazingly! I intend to continue until I am all clear (anticipating by Day 14). When the time comes, I am looking forward to adding ONE HEALTHY food item that will not cause me to break out. I have never been a fan of "munch food" so that ...
