Re: Swimming
Thanks for the replies. I think dehydration is a big factor. And I'm not sure if upping my fat intake is a smart move, because every sport diet recommends that you don't take too much fat. I did lots of long distance swimming since march and I only quit for 3 months. But now I'm going for interval t...

Re: Swimming
Did you feel energetic during the training? Yes, during training I felt energetic, I also drank the OJ+OO+sugar during training. Maybe you can start slower on the swimming, and increase the intensity gradually? That way you can also adjust your food intake more accurately. I'm not very good with mo...

Swimming
So, I finally decided to go swimming again! I began swimming in march this year. There is one problem though, because when I started wai, i quit swimming. Because of the comments about it being very hard in the beginning to getting the hang of it is very tough. Energy management, living on empty sto...

But still, 100% can't be so much better than 99%! Because there will always be some antinutrients in it! Like with the fruit we buy, it has pesticide residue and you can't be 100% really. So why would going 100% make such a big difference? Also the air that we breathe, second hand smoke.. Egg yolks ...

Because you cut them, then some of the stuff bleeds out in your belly and you will absorb antinutrients. It's unnecessary material!

Diary
Alright people, I'm almost hitting the 3 months mark and would like to share my diet diary with you. I'm going to be very honest with you. As it might also help me in the process of getting over that dark part of my life. And being proud that I now can live with moderation! I live in The Netherlands...

Everything that contains the word detox should be sent straight to the trash bin. You can't detox, with everything you eat there are antinutrients. Even in the air that you breathe. The only thing you can do is optimalise the nutrient/antinutrient ratio. And I still see no reason to doubt the wai di...

Re: Whiter teeth?
Yeah it's true, orange juice withens your teeth. Orange juice, due to its acidity and sugar content also eats away your teeth. Especially when sipped during the day. That's also one of the most important reasons to put fat in the juice! Fat often acts as a antimicrobe agent. It also coats your teeth...

Re: Loosing enzymes and vitamins after juicing?
Vitamin C is one of the vitamins that oxidizes easily. Reading this article: http://www.ultimatecitrus.com/vitaminc.html suggests that keeping it in glass will lose 10% of the vitamins after 4 months.. also read http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2001-02/982722824.Bc.r.html Keeping it fresh for 1 ...

Re: Potassium / calcium / magnesium ratio
Okay I read alot about ratios and stuff. But there isn't some sort of logical fist rule. RRM, maybe you could enlighten us on the ratios? Like phosphorus is needed for a lot of conversions in the human body so it seems like the phosphorus is one of the key minerals that regulate the balance. This si...

Re: lost too much weight need to pack on
IF you have more muscle, your metabolism increases. So you will burn more energy in rest. You should therefore, indeed, increase your food intake. Maybe more added sugar for cost effectiveness

Re: Calcium absorption and protein
That are the recommendations for SAD at least. Don't know about ours. Our intake of magnesium always exceeds calcium. How come it is so low? My calcium is 600? Well, I guess that if your Vitamin D supply is good, calcium is alright. Vitamin D is essential in mainting balanced calcium levels. As well...
