Allergic to nuts

Post by loveallaround »

Nuts give me very bad digestive problems. It appears that I am "allergic" to most tree nuts, which really reduces the variety, and also the fat and protein sources for me when I'm on this diet. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? Maybe it doesn't really matter and I should just use the rest of the diet without the nuts.

Thanks,
Dawn

I'm not allergic to nuts, but I also don't really eat them. I'd suggest you just follow the diet without nuts.

Oscar,

Is there a reason you don't eat nuts?

Dawn,

If you can eat eggs and/or fish, you dont really need to eat nuts, as they provide you with all the protein you need.
Personally, i love to add some walnuts to my salad occasionally (there are no in shell Brazil nuts available here at the moment).

Nope, I just don't feel the need.

I have now tried the diet without nuts and I feel sooooo much better. Eggs and fish and the rest of the diet are working just fine for me. Thank you so much for your help.
