Shelf life frozen OJ / peel softness

Post by bbmine »

Is it safe to freeze orange juice after making it therefore it would last many months?

I try to keep my oranges about 2 weeks before juicing them, this makes them nice and ripe, i notice they start to get very soft brownish spots (im guessing there starting to rot?) Is this still good to juice them like this

When the spots are local, it tends to be mold or rot, and you'll have a moldy taste in the juice. If the whole orange is soft, then it's fine.

Yes, it may last up to months when properly frozen, but "many months" is too much,
and not necessary.
