Fluoride in egg yolks

Post by Kookaburra »

From Waisays:
Fluoride: Egg yolk and raisins and dried apricots, but also other fruits and fish contain fluoride.
I went to the USDA database to check and there were no fluoride values in there. Why is that so? So, is there fluoride in egg yolks at all?

USDA has chosen to show the contents of just 10 specific minerals / trace elements for each food:
Calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium.

In Food Composition and Nutrition Tabels (Souci, S.W.), they list a few extra:
Cobalt, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, chloride, fluoride, iodide, boron, bromine, aluminium, silicon...
to the extend that the data are available.

What do you think?
We made it up?
30 microgram / 100 gram.
