Re: Every day goals/rituals
Goal 1 Check
Goal 2 Check
Goal 3 ... Spend too much at uni.. Need to arrange some things better for this.
Goal 4 Check
Goal 5 Check
Goal 6 Check
Goal 7 Check
I can´t believe i did this.
The trick that worked for me.
Visualizing, I just visualized the most important things. And not once, but like 5 times.
I took me around an hour, but it was worth it.
When I woke up, I directly started to smile. Because I visualized to wake up with incredible positive emotions.
The complete plan of the day just happened almost like I visualized it. No need to push, I really felt pulled.
Doing yoga, hour of power etc.
After the morning, I just came in the flow of uni. I stayed there until 8, so I didn´t do my goal 3.
I've been on wheat grass for around a week.
This made the week 3 at uni feel like a massive improvement.
I don't know where I was reacting to at uni, or whatever, but I almost feel like not reacting to anything over there.
I only slept 5 hours 30 min. I didn´t had any desire to nap.
If someone could give a good theory why wheat grass could have this impact. Let me now.
I changed my wheat grass btw. This one has almost none complex carbs. And 100% raw.
This one tastes much better, almost no bitter taste, and I seem to need less for same effect.
I keep my CP at around 35s. I don´t try to push it above that.
I think this is best for this situations at the moment.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Great Kasper, keep it up!!
I'm doing the same, I write down TODO for the next day every evening, and then if you memorize the list you just go around and do the stuff.
Btw about sleeping, I've read some time ago that if you think and visualize that you'll wake up tomorrow at a certain hour, usually you'll wake up pretty near the imagined time, especially if there's something that would really motivate you to wake up at that time, like a flight in the morning for example.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Friday went even better than thursday !
Yoga early in the morning is excellent way to wake up.
I do many yoga exercises where I'm laying.
So I don't even need to come out of bed. I just align my whole posture when I'm still horizontal.
When I do yoga, I have a natural desire to reduce breath. I don't feel any air hunger, while my breathing is like one breath every 20-30 s.
I'm still a little bit confused with buteyko at the moment. Sometimes I don't feel good at all with high CP's. I think I sometimes suffer from loss of CO2 sensitivity.
Drinking coffee, egg yolks and eating liver are three things I have noticed to help with this. A quick nap can also help.
Seems to have something to do with NO and L-arginine in the diet.
I'm sometimes under eating when I'm too busy at university, so this might explain it.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Btw, today I overslept, I didn't had a plan, and I didn't like this day at all..
I'm going to shape tomorrow right now, so it doesn't happen again. :)

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Standard, which I want to keep:
Spending 9-11 hours at university, 5 days a week
Okay, let's set some new clear goals for my health.
Main goal : Achieving Perfect Digestion (in buteyko terms)
Standard 1: Getting a good chewing standard
Standard 2: Not eating after 9 o'clock
Standard 3: Using super mixture (probiotics,prebiotics,physilium) 2x a day
Standard 4: 1 hour of sauna 3x a week
Standard 5: 1 hour of walking every day
Important: Thinking about a diet, which is:
1. Low on sugar, carbs
2. high percentage raw
3. low on insoluble fibre
4. feeds me well energy and nutrient wise
5. gives me no practical or social problems at university
RRM, please don't try to convince me to go for wai. I really don't believe consuming that much sugar is healthy for me now.
Any suggestions regarding finding a diet which fits those 5 criteria are hugely appreciated.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
You can adapt the Wai diet in any direction.Kasper wrote: RRM, please don't try to convince me to go for wai. I really don't believe consuming that much sugar is healthy for me now.
You may eat a low-sugar, high-protein and high-fat Wai diet, for example.
Simply consume way more fish, more meat and more yolks, maybe nuts, and only a little low-sugar fruits.
You can use slow cooking for the meat, and taken beef or chicken legs with you to university, for example.
Meets all your criteria.
Alu bottle
Yes, for example I eat 100-150g of sugar, which is probably considered "low carb".RRM wrote: You can adapt the Wai diet in any direction.
I used to do that - slow cook meat with rice, and take it with me to the university. But I like it more now, making 1L OJ + OO, it's more convenient. Nobody has asked me so far what am I drinking, nor would anyone think that I'm drinking something "strange". Orange juice is by no means strange anyway, so no social problems. It's nutrient and calories dense (1L has around 1000cal). For breakfast and dinner I eat raw fish/meat/eggs at home, and that's another 1000cal or so.
So Kasper I'd say my diet is very much what you're looking for? Looks like it fits the requirements pretty well :)
Re: Every day goals/rituals
Okay, thans for all the suggestions guys, really appreciated.
I updated my criterias:
1. low on sugar, carbs, but honey is fine
2. high percentage raw
3. low on insoluble fibre (too much fibre in nuts)
4. feeds me well energy and nutrient wise
5. gives me no practical or social problems at university
6. plant food/animal food ratio must be high (not too much protein)
So energy wise, best would be a mid honey/mid fat/low protein diet I guess.
Honey
Drinking juice during the day is not a problem for me (social wise).
A problem I do have is honey, it's really too weird to eat plain honey when I'm studying with other people.
Especially if I eat it every 30 min.
If I could eat honey all day long, this would be perfect.
I was thinking of combining: honey+juice (carrot/tomatoes/cumcumber/pumpkin powder/acai powder/wheat grass etc.)
But dime told honey would react with the water, right ?
Anyone with a practical solutions eating honey at university ?
(another crazy idea I had was, making candy from gelatine/honey mixture, but this is probably not a practical solution).
High fat
I learned that fat is better digested when combined with lectichine.
And from experience I can tell this is true.
Therefore, I want to eat fat/oil always together with lectichine.
In practice, this means combining egg yolks with fatty meals.
I like to get my fats from coconut oil, red palm oil or animal source.
I was thinking of maying mayonaisse from red palm oil and coconut oil.
Anyone who knows if this is possible ?

Re: Every day goals/rituals
You can try putting honey in your juice and see how it works, maybe it will be ok.
I used to make regularly red palm oil + coconut oil mayonnaisse :) But you have to melt the oils first. 2-3 egg yolks and then slowly add oil while stirring with a spoon or something similar. I was making around 400g at a time. It won't really be mayonnaisse because the oils will harden in the fridge.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Okay, I bought raw wheat grass again.
For some time, I had an other brand, which wasn't labeled raw.
The effects of this brand is really much better than the one I had before.
The taste is also better.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Okay, I waked up naturally today after 7 hours of sleep.
First time I wake up naturally since weeks, so I'm really really glad with this.
Today, I need to focus on those things:
Standard 1: Getting a good chewing standard
Standard 2: Not eating after 9 o'clock
Standard 3: Using super mixture (probiotics,prebiotics,physilium) 2x a day
Standard 4: 1 hour of sauna 3x a week
Standard 5: 1 hour of walking every day
Beginning with 30 min. of walking right now.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
Kasper, what kind of sauna do you go to? Here it's freakin expensive, 13 euros! I'd quickly go bankrupt if I do it 3x a week :D
But the Finish sauna where you go to 85C first and then as soon as you get out you dip into a freezing water pool is awesome.

Re: Every day goals/rituals
It's free at the gym at university.
I pay 12 per month for the gym.
But still freaking good deal.
Being student in amsterdam is not that bad living.
I usually do a infrared sauna/steam sauna/cold shower cycle.
I love it. I really feel clean inside out after it.
