You mean this?
Soup du Oeuf.JPG
I did. I tried it on Dec 31.
It tastes pretty good. :D
Modified slightly had more egg whites; 3 yolks: 4 egg whites.

The egg porridge was because I had too many egg whites and not enough water and used another heating method.
The egg whites became a gel and couldn't be strained, hence I ate it porridge style; a totally different dish.
Egg soup is better.

* Super early!
No alarm clock.
Woke up naturally.
Umm I don't know what to do with all that spare time?
Suggestions?
Eating oranges is kinda boring, they take up very little time.
Sipping oo is fast too, no need to wash utensils.
Spooning sugar is faster then stirring into a juice.
I looked for snow, barely enough to shovel. knock on wood, i think more flakes are coming.

Not i think. Captions after the dates: Jan 9 -12 says why it is not. Although most food items are Wai, the things I add that make it not Wai might be aggravating the pimples that were already there.

Tue Jan 13, 2015 (not Wai; b/c junk)

5:00 1 bag (75g) of shrimp crackers*

* Testing Junkfood for Curiosity (nojunk aytundra disapproves of these tests though.)
- Today, I've managed to walk through 3 supermarkets and have kept my nose turned-up to most foods, a serious test on looking at junk foods.
- Because I am quite proud that I did not crave any junk food. I just bought a bag to see what happens. (Last time I bought something not Wai was a chocolate, this time I am not talking about munch food, but real junk food which I have not bought like in over half a year.)
- I am also quite confident with my skin now, it feels a bit more me (like the skin I used to know). Like I am in control of it.
- Such that I am starting to think I know what might make it not happy.
- Biscuits and cookies are definitely not a friend to my skin.
Before December I was already quite happy with my skin, such that I did not feel too bothered (guilty) about eating junk; I kinda had an instinctive feeling which junk was okay and which was not and chose the junk accordingly. When I did eat the junk, the pimples that came these past 2 weeks made me realize that I had forgotten how it felt to be to constantly scratching dried flakes and having irritated skin from the pimples.

Small pimples occuring along the acclimatize months were not that irritating, small enough that I did not have to scratch them or pay attention to them.
In comparison, the 2 big ones that occured these past 2 weeks, hurts.

Nina75 wrote:you are 100% now or not Aytundra ?
Aytundra will consider herself 100% if she can do:
a) no junk, no munch, no seeds, no peels, no nuts, no cooked, for 30 days consecutively.
or
b) 95% of 365 days, which equals approximately of 18 days for rule-breaking.

Based on forecasted social interruptions, I estimate I can easily do 15 Wai days consecutively.
But,
365/15 = 24.33 freebies
365/20 = 18.25 freebies
This means that I would have to maintain at a minimum of 21 Wai days consecutively.
If I want to meet my own standards, i guesss i hve to be more strict? I can probably do it though, a) or b) or both.
Social-wise, I might have to invent a lot of excuses.

i am probably a newbie at research.
Researching in penguin land (land with black and white fonts).

If I am in penguin land, aurora lights will have to take back seat; but I just remembered I still have to keep these arctic lights because I have recently (~3 months ago) started a parallel diary; will weave them together if the other side has nice results.

Wai diet = Plexiglass (Why the Wai diet is so difficult.)

Post by Aytundra »

I think there are some helping factors here:
1. Vegetarianism is recognized worldwide as a valid diet (and the Wai diet is not).
2. Especially when a moral issue is the reason for the diet, the 'religious' effect comes into play: Having the moral high ground, being 'right', etc. Most vegans also display the priestly preaching effect that is possible in this situation. Pointing towards the bio-industry is a very easy argument to convince most people of the righteousness of the diet.
3. On a vegetarian diet one can still consume addictive substances.
Didn't mean to ignore you there.
blah blah blah, blah blah blah, that is Oscar's vegan rant. Sherlock is no where near. Now I have my rant.
Okay here is my perspective of why this diet is hard:

Wai diet = Plexiglass (Why the Wai diet is so difficult.) <----- I think

A long long time ago when I was about ~7 years old, with neon pink and green shoelaces, I was afraid of the CN Tower's plexiglass, I had watched curiously and suspiciously as the burgandy cotton jacketed kid rolled on the glass ground and toddlers racing fearlessly over it, while adults casually strolled across. I edged to the glass and looked down below and saw very tiny buildings, cars and streets, although I was awestruck, i had no guts to step over it. We went around looking at the exhibit of dolls, and the afternoon had passed, and dusk was setting the streets were almost gone, tiny lights glowed from them. The warm yellow lights glowed from the restaurant's elevators behind me. I ran across.
Fast forward 15 years later, that summer I came across another glass, it was a delight running over the plexiglass in Calgary.

Trying the Wai diet is like walking on plexiglass in those tall towers and overcoming the fear of looking at the tiny trees below your shoes. {I suppose the glass is perfectly safe (assuming no forecasted earthquakes). A perfectly safe piece of glass to step on, you won't really fall and touch the trees below [I guess it would be another story if I were afraid of heights (sugar, oil).]).

In terms of the boundaries: I had to stay on the glass of 1-4 and off of 5-9
1. liquid yolks {that was the hardest egg to crack}
2. sushi grade fish {this was moderately hard to do}
3. fruits & nuts
4. optional sugar, oil
5. no grains
6. no dairy
7. no candy/junk
8. no cooked
9. no supplements
10. no veggies {plah that was easy for me, not so for others watching me: "Have some veggies. Part of a "balanced diet"!"}

Currently l am stuck on 11.
11. is the difficulty of staying on a small patch of glass instead of running in endless corridors of grass, carpet, concrete, wood and tiles.
The novelty of standing on plexiglass has worn off!
I think I have jumped on it, lied flat on it, sleeped on it, kicked it, stomped on it, poked at it, climbed on it, rock climbed on it, slided on it, rolled on it, gazed at the pretty views from it, taken pictures on it, drawn happyfaces and sadfaces on the glass with steam from my breath.
Like any good tourist, i think i've done about everything averagely normal that there is to do with it.
So where is my complimentary souvenir?
Where is my certificate of accomplishment?

Right, don't give me anything yet, I still have to try the consecutive day challenge...

[I forgot what it was called, but it was in some psychology textbook: If any of you have a baby at home, and a large glass table. Cover 3/4 of the table with a table cloth and leave 1/4 uncovered. With the table edges all safely surrounded by walls/people, place your baby on the 1/2 of the covered part of the table. Watch the baby crawl, he or she will not crawl over the transparent part of the table.]

From the elevator doors a song sings from it:

" "How sweet to be a Cloud
Floating in the Blue!
Every little cloud
Always sings aloud." "(pg 17)

Elevator door opens.
Sticky paw prints tracks across the ginger snaps and chocolate tiles.
Edges near the plexiglass. Looks at it puzzled.
"Hallo Aytundra!" "What are you on?"

A: 'Who calls? Do I know you? It is a plexiglass.'
"Perplexigrass?" he mutters to himself.
He looks around, asks "Am I in the Forest?"

A: 'No'
"I thought so. It does not look like it.Too much water."
"I think I climbed the wrong tree."

A: 'You climbed a skyscraper.'
"Hey look, There is The Floating Bear." pointing proudly to it.
"You're on my boat."

A: 'I am? Do you want it back? I borrowed it for fishing.'
"Did you catch anything?"

A: 'I think I remember you. Do you want some salmon with some honey? I have some extra.'
" "Both", " but don't bother about the bread please." "(pg 26)

A: 'We don't eat sandwiches here.'
"Do you eat "HUNNY"?"

A: 'I've never tried it on this tower, maybe I will.'
