Protein and DNA

Post by slea »

What do you gather from this article about protein? I agree with most of it, but what about the part where it says that the DNA in meat weakens the immune system and the strong feeling you get from eating it is because of an immune reaction? Is this scientific? I remember this same person saying that about raw egg yolks being bad because of the DNA issue.

This article contains snippets of the truth, but misses the point!

It is heated food that causes problems.

I am a Pitta type (55 yr old) and have no trouble with raw protein. I seem to need lots and have 6 egg yolks a day and additional raw fish and meat too.

Kapha types will need less than me and Vata types more. Younger people will need less and older, more.

The protein is not needed, what is needed are the cholesterol and the animal fats (DHA). These keep the brain, cells and endrocrine system in top order.

It is the KISS principle...
