Post by johndela1 »

why is egg yolk listed twice on the calculator?

I choose the second one and get 0 calories for 100 gr of yolk. Am I doing something wrong? also, what does it mean when it says items missing?

here is the output:

Water..........................................50.00000g ..............?g
Energy..........................................0.00000kcal ......650.00kcal missing items:1

Souci, Fachmann, Kraut; Food Composition and Nutrition Tabels. Medpharm Scientific Publishers Stuttgart., page 141

It varies indeed. The USDA has gone down from 358 to 322 kcal / 100 gram egg yolk.

yea, not to mention that some fruits are simply sweeter than others even if they are the same type

I assume this affects the calorie content, too
