Yes...in every way. There are times you simply dont want to be seen, so how can you be normal or even have a normal life.RRM wrote:I dont think he means ego-defining (but maybe im misinterpreting ego)
Maybe Jodiat means to say that from having acne
you get true insight in what really matters, and what not,
and that it shapes your character and your attitude towards life
and towards others... ?
hi guys!
nice to see you all here chewing on raw bones, sucking juices and munching fruitssss...
I am still 100%.
This diet IS the only reason I can live and survive through the crazy schedules and pressure.
Just a quick advice to Roman.
Candida or not,
I find there are two types of people when it comes to switching to this diet.
1) the ones who love the raw protein. Make them a pate of minced beef with avocado and they love it. Immediately. Egg Yolks (if hidden at the beginning of mixed with something) are great. etc.
These people crave in the beginning cooked protein and cooked fat: Steak in a sauce, a thick soup etc.
2) the ones who like the fruits for a few days. But actually crave pastry and baked foods, breads and other cooked starch.
* 3) as a separate addiction is candies, and the memory of getting satisfied from sweets, coffee etc.
This is of course very generalized.
My point is that I found that for group 2) to which Roman seems to belong, it is very helpful to marinate protein and/or eat it with a bit of fruit.
For example, if you take the salmon filet that you have and put it overnight in lemon/lime juice, I PROMISE you - you will love it, and in fact will find it difficult to not eat very much of it. It is easy to eat 400 grams of marinated fish.
another good combination is mango with egg Yolks.
You can for example, cut some avocado, then cut thin stripes of Mango and add to it as a sauce eggyolk.
or just add a bittt of mango juice and sugar to egg Yolks.
Again, you will be able to eat much more than 2-3 Yolks.
In the beginning, the amounts are less important than just SURVIVING the transition.
If you can eat a lot of something that is part of the diet and it feels tasty and satisfying. GO FOR IT!
I remember hating most of the fruits except mandarines and Apricots at some point. So I ate tons of these for a week.
So again, start by marinating Salmon.
Eat as much of it as you want/can.
Then add some simple white sugar to fruits salad you eat.
I know Candida.
Still, try it, and follow up (half an hour later) with some marinated salmon.
I think you will like it!
This will make you get enough energy while eating a big less fruit pulp.
The more raw food you can get into your system - the better - in the beginning.
Bananas are great as separate meals.
I would wait with juices a bit.
Do NOT munch on anything cooked.
Nothing.
This will just make you less satisfied.
Keep the diet 100%
100000%
especially in the first two months.
if you feel like having a pizza tell to yourself:
"ok, no problem, I will have a pizza
but first, I will have a big full meal of my raw food,
some salad with sugar, followed with marinated salmon.
followed by a 5 minutes brak and some water if still not satisfied."
Usually, you will be so full that pizza will be out fo the question.
Finally, if you still have strong discomfort while doing all the above mentioned.
I suggest breaking the 100% diet by adding only tee.
Camomile tee or Japanese green tee (not chinese) is good, and very easy to remove later.
Just "my two pennies"...
