Another good chilled, minty fruit salad is : pineapple, dates, strawberries and mint leaves. I add either coconut oil or nuts, cause I feel sick if there's no source of fat. Some people add sesame oil instead, but I'm not a big fan of sesame oil + fruits. It's worth trying though if you want to cut ...

After 6 months Hey! Long time no see, right? A lot has changed in my life - divorce, changing countries, new work, etc. Here's how I'm doing these days. I've been following the diet, more or less strictly, since October now. Since I don't live with my (ex)husband anymore, no one pressures me into e...

Personally I like it a lot, I had plaque and white spots on my teeth and unhealthy gums before I started using it and in about two months everything has improved so much. The taste takes some getting used to but I've discovered that you really only get the real bitter soapy taste if you try to swall...

I do think I've learned a lot in school despite the fact that I would most likely fail any of my old tests if I had to retake them years later. Learning to communicate well is probably the main lesson, but I use math a lot more than I expected I would, and I think learning about history, chemistry, ...

Actually, in another thread it was said that even non-abrasive toothpaste coats your teeth in glycerine, which prevents re-mineralization of the enamel, and the recommended alternative was soap.

That's the point, though. We eat random bacteria everyday, in fact this diet promotes eating as much bacteria as possible. Normally we can handle it because we already have a well established intestinal flora. The reason wai says not to eat the sample diet while taking antibiotics is that wiping out...

Hm.. There were so many user comments that said the recipe was great, it makes me wonder if I just messed up by not whisking hard enough. It was spreadable, but it certainly wasn't light and fluffy. Also all the recipes I found for mayo call for salt and I omitted it, so I wasn't sure if that had so...

Actually it makes sense that you wouldn't see a difference Christina, theoretically you have all the bacteria you need already and ingesting more at random is nonsense. I'm only thinking of this as a way to rebuild the intestinal flora quickly after having taken antibiotics. Taking antibiotics leave...

I forgot to add, it doesn't have to be yogurt, yogurt is just the easiest. Anything fermented is basically probiotic food, as long as it hasn't been treated to kill the active cultures before it ships to the store. Miso, natto, raw milk cheese, properly pickled food, mayonnaise made with whey etc. T...
