I took a look at the book you mentioned, read the first chapter online (free) and some reviews. It looks interesting, something I could get into when I have a little more time/resources. What I noticed is that some readers mentioned lack of a really good conclusion. Ie, what do they truly recommend?...

Bikram's Yoga claims to be different, it claims to actually restore alignment. It's very intense and done in a heated room. Apparently Bikram researched the medical benefits of each pose in the series. Not having your training to analyze while I'm in class, I can't say whether this is actually true ...

Hello MJ, Thanks for your response. There are a few things that make sense, for example, as someone with a visual impairment, I do occasionally suffer from mild anxiety. Right now, there are transitional aspects in my life that may make this worse. However, that doesn't explain symptoms as far back ...

Fibromyalgia
Hello, I was 'diagnosed' with FMS a couple of weeks ago. I have reason to believe I'd had the physical tendency for it since I was six years old, or earlier. I remember nightmares that left me with a painful tingly spine for days. It was never much of a problem though, as I have always been extremel...

I remember reading something about this in previous posts. Apparently the machine that shells the nuts uses heat. I also remember something about heat or cold to get the shells off. I believe this is a 'quick' process, and still far better than the roasting process. The roasting process would shell ...

Hi Oscar, Thanks for your help, sorry I wasn't clear. I shell the nuts by hand in all cases. I spent about two weeks back in October researching all of this, reading this site, and the entire acne book before deciding to try it... Unfortunately my acne is still worse than before the diet... it's abo...

RRM, It looks like you are right. I reacted somewhat to the jojoba oil.. it caused excessive redness. I know bacteria isn't the cause, but controlling bacteria does -help- control acne, or those antibiotics wouldn't work. They have worked for me the past. I once stayed on them for 2 whole months. I ...

Nutrient Calculator
Hello, Here is what the nutrient calculator says. I'm older then the age range I chose, but it is accurate by weight. Sometimes I add coconut, papaya or blueberries, and whatever else is available. The amount of Olive Oil is an estimate only. RDA: FDA Women, 19-24yr (164cm/65in, 58kg/128lb) Your sel...

Hi MJ, I got the sesame oil in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the local Smiths store. The sesame oil I have now is darker in color and has a strong oder. I react to it, my face gets quite red and itchy. I didn't react to the other stuff. I have no idea which is toasted, or refined, and which is not. I f...

I found a refined sesame seed oil in the US that was clear in color and low-oder. I used that regularly a few years ago. It was amazing. ('8)') Sesame oil is also on Wai's list of oils that are low in vitamin e. A question about sesame oil though, it's made from seeds. Does that mean it contains tox...

Hello RRM, thank you for the information. I've found the two websites with more information; http://www.naturesgift.com/agora/car.htm "Simmondsia californica (Wax) Contains: protein, minerals, plant wax, myristic acid. Uses: Mimics sebum, penetrates skin very rapidly, therefore not good for massage,...
