Re: Ask yourself the RIGHT question, to stay focussed

Hehe, I talk a lot to myself/no one, even in public  ;D But a lot of recognition here (aside from being so hard on myself  ); I used to get distracted from my "goal" sort of speak. Especially when walking my dog, which is NOT very friendly towards other dogs. So I often found myself losi...

Re: Raw wai like diet for body building

I think regarding building muscle, it never comes easy. My younger brother is very muscular; normally around 120 kg (he's 1.92 m). A while ago, he lost a lot of weight (muscle). In a couple of months time he went from 120 to 98 kg (not eating enough due to a lack of money... ). Since then (af...

buying fish online

Lately, I have been ordering my fish online, since it is often very difficult to find good fish around here and it takes a lot of time searching for it (which I don't always have). I like home-shopping for a lot of things (for the same reasons I just mentioned), so I figured it would be much easier ...

Re: Possible problems with eggs and affording the diet

As for the fish, frozen fish for cooking is cheaper, than say, fish from a sushi shop. I tried frozen fish a few times, thawed out, and it was nasty. You don't necessarily have to buy your fish from a sushi shop. Buy it at a good fish market and you'll have sushi-grade quality and perfect taste for...

Re: My friend is Manic deppresive Bipolar.

Yes, and raw animal foods are amazing at curing depressions. If i don't feel good I buy myself an expensive piece of meat or fish and feast on this. Always works for me. I get depressed easily in the cold winter months with no light.. egg yolks have been a great help. Cholesterol is an essential nu...

Re: Eating Fish for Omega3s & craving control....

maybe it is easier to start with yolks instead of fish. I remember my mom hated fish before she started this diet. She didn't even want to try one small piece in the beginning. So she only ate yolks (and fruit ofcourse). After some time, she got used to all the raw stuff, and seeing me eat all the r...

Re: raw scallops

I love scallops, but I can't eat much of it at once. Don't know why, but after like 3-4 of 'm I just had enough, while I can eat over 500 gr of salmon at once.....
Anybody else notice something similar, or is it just me?

Re: ADD

About that many people react like: ADD doesn't exist, it is just a discipline problem I didn't mean to say that you reacted like that, but more adressed to dime, who insinuated something like that. About PTSD, a good girlfriend from me (or should I say a friend who is a girl, I don't know :P) also ...

Food for skin

Would it be possible that using yolks for skincare (as a face mask for example) influences your mood, similar to the way it does when you eat them? Maybe not as much, but nevertheless, it seems I feel slightly (which is a lot in my case) better since I tried this some days ago... :?

Re: body wash / hand soap

Please keep us posted about the results in the future. (will it last? dloes it affect the condition of your hair? any other effects?) I'll continue doing it regularly, so I will. They say rosewater is very good for your hair, so I have good hope that at least it won't do any bad. But I think it onl...

giving it to my dog is not throwing it away  Anyhow, do you buy organic marrow? Does it need to be? (because of the fat composition)

Re: ADD

This idea sounds so repulsive, that I don't want to use Ritalin. So there are other techniques. One of them is to try to write everything you need to do down and carry this in your wallet. It takes a lot of effort, but I promise there will be moments where you get to think: "Hey I need to write thi...

Re: ADD

Well, I'm 21 years old. And of course, I've tried to diminish my symptoms. And I've tried a thousand things and still trying things, for example, "getting things done" from David Allen... etc. etc. But if I would choose between try like hell, and still not being able to get the things done I want t...
