If you first freeze some bananas without the peel and then take them and blend them in a blender, will it still cause heated protein?
Because apparently one can make raw ice-cream this way!

Re: Frozen banana-"Ice-cream"?
It might, but since bananas aren't that high in protein, I think you should be fine, unless your skin is very acne-prone. Of course if you want to add egg yolks, then you need to add them after the blending.
Re: Frozen banana-"Ice-cream"?
If you are susceptible to acne, just blending bananas is already a no-no.
Re: Frozen banana-"Ice-cream"?
But how can it be so if you first freeze them? Then they are cold when you blend them and there will be no heated protein right?

Yes, i understand your reasoning, but the friction of the blades is heat on a molecular level,Goldrandy wrote:But how can it be so if you first freeze them? Then they are cold when you blend them and there will be no heated protein right?
maybe increasing all over temp just 0.1%, but locally , at a molecular level causing havoc.
In practice, i always got acne from consuming blended fruits, regardless of their low temp.
